Love this thread....I keep thinking "check, check" to all the things I have also done!

I cracked up when my daughter (who just started kindergarten) brought home a picture she drew. We were all there, but next to me she made a point to draw a picture of "mommy's book"!

These are cracking me up!

I know I'm obsessed & that my housekeeping has been sliding as a result. But you know your house has been lackluster when your 4 year old comes home from preschool & says "Wow, Mommy! I can't believe it's clean in here!" :P

I should be grading my student's work right now... I'm not sure if that's obsession or procrastination :P

I've categorised quite a few of the people I know into Vampire/Werewolf.

I was talking to my ex the other day actually, he was being impossible, and I was absolutely mortified that I found myself telling him heatedly, "Oh my goodness! You're such a werewolf!"

He of course, looked at me like I was insane. I also think he was being clever when he asked me "If I'm a werewolf, what does that make the new one?" (He still won't call my husband by his name, or admit that we're married... men /sigh)

I reply "Edward!" ... and again, he's looking at me like I've gone nuts.

**
Adding this to my obsession list...
**
I got some bad news last night. My hubby is away with work, and I was upset. My girlfriends told me to indulge in comfort food, and as much chocolate as I could stomach... I wanted to go home to Edward.

I found myself skipping through my books looking for my favourite scenes so I could visit with my favourite fictional vampire for a few hours.

It made me feel much better :P

You know you are obsessed when...

You sign up at work for a months worth of kitchen duty to earn an extra day off to be used on 11/21! A dirty job, but well worth it!!!

When I am in the car flipping through radio stations or listening to CDs and I can relate almost every song to a Edward and Bella moment or a Jacob and Bella moment.

Ah, that is a good one! I did the exact same thing yesterday. Leave it to the mind of Stephenie Meyer to have me thinking of Edward Cullen when I heard "Want to be inside your heaven" by Carrie Underwood! LOL!

Oh, the songs kill me! It's so true!

You know you're obsessed when you start making compilations of songs for each book that remind you of the characters or certain chapters from the books. (I've been working on them all week!)

You know you're obessed when you find yourself walking through the book aisle in the grocery store or Target, or if you take a random trip to the book store just to walk by the displays. Geez, it's not like Edward is going to suddenly materialize in the store!

Yeah, but we all do it anyway. When they don't have the books at all I just shake my head and go "you don't know what you are missing". More grocery stores are starting to get the books as they are getting even more popular and the movie is coming up.

I know just what you mean! I've been able to relate stuff by Nickelback, Scissor Sisters, The Cure and Crowded House this week! :)

When your 10 year old daughter who hasn't read the books is quoting them,

"Do I dazzle you?"

That is hilarious.

You know you're obsessed....

*When you wont even consider letting people borrow your books even though you've read them 12 times each.

*When you hear the phrase "Are you talking about Twilight again?" at least three times a day from different people.

*When you carry around 4 enormous hardcover books with you everywhere, just in case you have a few moments to read.

*And when people in your office are completely cool with the fact that if they really want to talk to you and be your friend that they need to read Twilight first. (My co-workers and my bosses have been so supportive of my obsession. They always share SM related news with me when they hear it . One of them even went to comic-con when I couldn't and she got me the movie poster. it was so nice)

When you go back to your old Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire dvd becasue you remember the extras... Cedric Diggory going about his day on the set...!!! OH the Glory!!!! the man is beautiful! ahhhhh... and the accent.. the accent gets me every time.

my son (who will be 10 in a few weeks) rolled his eyes and went upstairs. He thinks im a crazed after seeing my screensaver on the comp.. watching me obsess over online videos/interviews... being dragged to borders and barnes and noble every week just to watch me peruse the twilight sections... AND watching me wear the shirts thats say things he just does not get. I know he has become quite familiar with my forehead.. as my nose is always buried in a book.

he has learned to just shake his head at me and maybe groan with an "*oh my edward*" when he has to bear witness as I do it all over again :)

When you buy things that reminds you of Twilight. I was suppose to be just shopping around for a dresser for my 2 yr. old son, you know, comparison shopping. I spotted a 3-drawer dresser (too small) which happened to have the model name of Kullen. You can all guess what I did. Yes, I bought it.
