I would vote for the dolphins as well. We have plenty of oceans.

They have cryo-stasis right? They could just build bigger silver boxes and bring any host (spider, bear, dolphin, See Weed) that can handle Earth atmosphere and gravity. Man, that would be cool. That would also probably be a little more science fiction than SM seems to want to write.

If we were taking better care of the oceans, which we would be if the souls had been in control for awhile, then our seas should have a plethora of dolphins for transplantation ( I really love the dolphin idea, I can't help it).

I didn't even think of them using other animals from our planet! I was only thinking of them bringing hosts from other planets here, but we do have other intellegent life here. what and idea; they could coexist on a long term basis without using human hosts or fear of human longevity. I think that they might need to be in an animal with fingers and dexterity though or how would they do the insertions.

I vote for coexistence!! It seems that the Earth would be a much better place.
