My head hurts now....trying to reconcile the book with movie clips. I wish I had frankies foresight and had this figured out...I'll be waiting for the movie I guess.

Maybe. It wouldn't be much of a life, though.

over the years of seeing my reading turned into film, I have learned one important lesson: they are not the same. I think of it like spaghetti: sure it's the same dish, but no one makes it the same way. So sure it's the same story idea, but it will be told with differences. I just have to appreciate the uniqueness of both on their own terms, and not expect a 90 minute movie to perfectly compress a 500 page book. I feel blessed that the studio allowed SM to have as much to do with the movie as she was able to have.
