Which chapters do you think you will read first or are you a straight "Read each chapter as I go"? I am an end of the book reader so I will probably skip to the last chapter to find out what happens. I will probably also scan the table of contents to see if there might be chapter relating to Bella becoming a vampire and read that as well.

I just read it through, usually. The exception is New Moon. When Edward left I cried for about 20 minutes, then peeked in the last chapter to see if his name was there. It was, so I read the rest. I just HAVE to have my happy endings!!

I NEVER peek.. it ruins the book for me if i know what is going to happen.. after i know what's going to happen i think i lost the ability to have an emotional response to the book. That's really teh whole reason i read

Wow, I would never read the last chapter first. :o To me that ruins the whole ride! It's like finding out your Christmas gifts before Christmas and then seeing them under the tree for a month knowing exactly what is in them. I guess I'm just a sucker for the element of surprise. I love it!!! I will read straight through, of that I'm sure!!! :) I love the ride!

I hate surprises and I ALWAYS peeked at my Christmas gifts - I became an excellent re-wrapper because of it.

I didn't read the last chapter, though, only scanned for the name Edward. I knew if it was there, I could deal with whatever was between his leaving and then. :D

I'm definitely an impatient person and want to know if all ends well. I read the last few pages first of H. P. and the Deathly Hallows, and I'm so much more into the Twilight Saga that I'm sure I'll skip to the end to peek and make sure it ends the way I hope it will (Bella with Edward). I don't care if she becomes a vampire or not, I just want them married and together

I couldn't live with myself if I peeked!! That would just ruin it for me, aside from the fact that I have an overactive imagination and wouldn't be able to focus at all because my mind would be running tangents every which way trying to figure out what happened to get to the end point.

I'm just wondering..(no judgement) so if it doesn't end the way you would like it too, do you still read it? I think that the reasons i don't like to peek are 1) lessens emotional response and 2) I wouldn't want to be disappointed and feel like not reading it.

I know you didn't direct the question at me, but . . . even though I've never actually read the ending of any book . . . I think if I did, I would still continue to read if it had been not what I wanted. I can't leave things undone! :)

Yes, I'd finish it, just with a little less enthusiasm and not as quickly (which may be better for my family in the long run!)

Every one of these books I get I always go to the end and read. Also, as I am reading I go ahead pages and read. I HATE surprises so this takes away that feeling of anxiety for me. :D

I'll look at the chapter titles on the way to the car after buying it lol. I did that with the last two HP books :D

Then I'll start at the beginning and read it through. :D

I love your 1st reason why you don't peak. That is totally me, as for your second. I would still read it. This is an addiction, I would have no control over whether I read it or not and even if I didn't like the ending (which I doubt would happen, Steph can do no wrong by me) I would still be irrevocably in love with Twilight! :)

No peaking for me!!! :)
