I've never been one to peek at the ending - I love the suspense. I usually just end up reading faster so i can get to the end! I have to read everything from front to back each time, I can't just skip around. I'm pretty obsessive compulsive about some things, and this is definitely one of them. I cry everytime I read NM, but there is no way on Earth I could just skip the 2/3 of the book that is sad. I have to read straight through. So with MS, I will read it in order _________________

I will admit I am itching to just skip and read the last chapter or even the last page...I just want to know if Edward is happy in the end! _________________

I have to read straight through. I can't bring myself to read ahead.
With New Moon, I was heartbroken the whole time right along with Bella. Actually, she seemed to handle his being gone alot better than I did, Jacobs a nice kid and all, but I just kept holding my breath waiting for that moment when Edward would come back. Everytime she heard his voice, I'd seriously have a minor heart attack of relief where my heart would jump into my throat. I actually tore edges off the pages of my cousins book in my anticipation to turn the pages.
I'm wondering if I was able to keep from looking because I knew in my heart everything would be okay. I'm barely at the beginning of the book, theres still this whole book to read PLUS another one after it, he couldnt possibly stay away that whole time. _________________ Blondes have more fun, but Brunettes have more Edward.

I never read ahead, I love the feeling of shock that happens when I am surprised by a book. It actually took my breath away when I turned the pages after Edward left, and saw the months go by with Edward gone. I stayed up reading until 4:00am just SURE that he was coming back.
However, while I would never read ahead, sometimes I want to know what is going to happen so bad that I find my eyes skipping ahead to the next paragraph, or next page, just to get a glimpse of what is going to happen next. Several times I have had to actually cover up the rest of the page with my hand, just so I don't involuntarily glance at what is coming. Line by line is how I got through the end of the last HP book! I'm sure it will be the same with BD! I can't wait! _________________ "You are my life now."

This is exactly how I am too, word for word. |
Me too! But the good thing about reading really fast is that when you revamp and read slower, you notice all sorts of new stuff that you missed on your first frantic read-through! The second time I read each of the books, I was amazed at how much I missed I still learn something new each time i read them, and it always excites me to see what I'm going to discover. So, I don't think I will change how I read BD- I will just have to read it over and over and over............... _________________

Oh, I know the minute I finish it I will go right back to the first page and read it all over again too! It is amazing how much you miss when you are reading at 3:00am! _________________ "You are my life now."

I will start with the first page and end with the last page... I will however read the entire book within 24 hours. there is no way I will be able to put it down! What was lucky for me is I came into the Twilight scene later than some of you. I didnt read Twilight or even here of it unil this past February! But I had all 3 books to read. I can only imagine what it was like for some of you who had to wait for each book just like how im waiting for BD!!!!!! I wouldve pulled all of my hair out and stabbed myself in the face... jk now im just overreacting. Im so happy I read Twilight! It really changed my life.. not sure for the good or for the bad ahahahaha _________________ "STUPID, UNRELIABLE VAMPIRE"

In my heart i would want to end the very last chapters to know what happen in the end. I know i could not because that would mess up they whole rest of the book when i read it. _________________

I start with the first page and read it through to the last. Never was the kind of reader that reads the last chapter first to find out who's the murderer.
If I finally bought a book I have been waited a long time for I used to start reading it very slowly to increase the suspense (what a masochistic lion ) and from a certain point on I can't hold off myself and then "speed" through the rest of the book. And that's what I'm going to do with BD.

I always start out like I am going to read the whole book in the proper order of chapters. But if I hit a spot in the book that makes me nervous, I skim through the chapters to make sure the ending is what I am hoping it will be. I did it with Twilight _________________

I will read it from beginning to end.
I am curious though, of those of you that would never peek and those of you that have to peek, where did you fall when it came to learning the gender of your babies while pregnant? Did the peekers find out the sex? Did the non peeekers wait?
I never peek at the end of the book BUT I found out the gender of all four of my babies at the ultrasound. _________________
