Yes, that is the most important part of the experiment. i thought this out very thoroughly *not joking at all!*. To get the full peppermint tingle, you must inhale after you eat. I can too easily imagine that this is what it would be like to kiss Edward, or to fell his breath Time to stop...hyperventilating at work is never easily explained!

Then I will stop by the store and pick up a gallon of peppermint chocolate chip ice cream and some brown paper bags, then I will go home to continue my experiment

I did make a quick trip to DQ, and I tried the Andes Mint Blizzard with vanilla this time. I breathed in after I took a few bites, and it went up the back of my throat into my nose. Needless to say, I had to drive to the car wash. I got out with the rest of my Blizzard, and the attendant saw the ice cream spray all over the dash and window, and raised one eyebrow at me. I just growled, "Don't ask" and walked away to pay for the wash.

After all of that, the breathing in while eating the minty fresh coolness of the Blizzard has to be similar to Edward.

ROFL! Sorry - I should have been more specific about the breathing in as opposed to actually inhaling the ice cream! I've gotten crazy over eating mint & chocolate flavored things just to be close to Edward. This development is kinda disturbing, but not enough for me to quit I ordered the Mint Chocolate Chip frappucino from Starbucks this morning because I wanted to see how Edward it tasted! Pretty darn good - sweet, cold, and refreshing

wow, going through all these posts makes me want to try something chocolate and minty when i go out later! yay!! here i go again. i'm sure dh will be suspecting about this sudden interest in anything chocolate and minty, the way he was wary about my sudden desire to eat mushroom ravioli these past couple of months.

i've no problem imagining the taste, but one thing that still eludes me is the 'perfect edward smell', as you put it, nighttime. i don't know if its really lack of imagination on my part, but i'm having a hard time translating that sensation into anything edward. but then again, this isn't the thread for that.

Have you ever tried those green and white Starlight peppermints? Well, they make them in chocolate mint too. Its chocolate & mint all rolled up together - that is definately Edward to me
