Okay, I'm not sure if anyone else has posted this and I'm super sorry if they have!!! I searched I really did!!

So what do the Cullens do all the time. We know what Edward and Carlisle do but what about the rest of the family like Esme and the "children?" They hunt which could be like an hour to like 4 or something and they shop, play instruments, watch TV, buy cars, play on the stock market, stalk pretty girls, etc....
But they've done everything atleast 10 times haven't they?

I would like to imagine them playing Jenga or some other really fun board game! LOL! I mean really can you imagine Emmett trying to put a Jenga block without knocking it over, or better yet how annoyed he would be when Alice would take his spot first! I want to see who could win in a tree-climbing race or even a race on the ground running as fast as they could!!

I was just wondering what you guys might think they do during their "free time."

HA! I'm really looking forward to seeing the Cullens interact with each other more, either in Midnight Sun or Breaking Dawn. I can also see them playing game and messing around with competitions. We saw how much fun they had at the baseball game, we know that Emmett and Jasper like to wrestle and we know that an Alice/Edward chess match is one of the funniest things Bella has ever seen. The Cullens just seem to enjoy each other so much. It's such a great family dynamic!

Your comment reminded me of something that I have always been confused about. Do the Cullens hunt everyday, or is it more occasional? They obviously don't take big hunting trips every week (which seem more like going out to a fancy dinner or a Chuck-O-Rama .... and yes, those are two different ideas, I don't consider Chuck-O-Rama to be a fancy dinner ) or do they hunt just a little every night, like snacking.

I also think that the vampires probably use a large portion of their time to further their education. They all seem to have a huge wealth of knowledge that spans all areas. Do you think they watch and enjoy TV much?

I think it's in Midnight Sun where Edward is talking about the fact that it's been 2 weeks since they've hunted so I'm pretty sure they don't go every day.

Thanks AmyO, I had forgotten about that! Well, that's even more time in the vampire's day that needs to be filled! Monopoly maybe? That game can take forever!

We also know that the Cullen "children" like to play in the snow. Remember the day it snowed and the Cullens entered the lunchroom with drippy hair laughing, like they had had a snowball fight. Now that would be fun to see.

Somewhere on Lex correspondence I remember reading that each of the Cullens have their own personal hobby. The ones I remember her listing were Rosalie's is fixing cars, Jasper's was learning, Esme's was restoring old houses, and Alice's vice is shopping. Can you imagine having unlimited time to shop?

and money! Can you blame Alice for her "hobby"? I can't.

With all of their money and knowledge, I wonder if one of the Cullen's "hobbies" is to be philanthrophic?

For Carlisle, the fact that medicine is always advancing would be a challenge for him. I can see that he would be constantly advancing his medical knowledge, in all areas of medicing.

I think Alice would constantly be able to tune into peoples futures - imagine if she could just pick random people and see what their lives would be like in the future. It would be like constantly seeing a new movie everyday.

There's all the other hobbies they have as well.

I'm hoping the fact that Edward is always over at Bellas' gives the others lots of time to have *ahem* couple time without having to worry if he can hear them.

And, they also have the nighttime to fill!! Wow! That's a lot of time to do "stuff"!

Well, as for Carlisle and Edward and Jasper, I am sure they are extremely well read. What an incredible thing that would be - to have endless time to research and study any and every topic you ever wanted to! I guess I have always pictured them doing their school stuff during the day, homework like normal and then watching tv and hunting, enjoying their hobbies...I think that Rosalie and Emmett probably have other ways of distracting themselves....

I'm pretty sure the female Cullens spend hours and hours on an internet forum devoted to some author chick they never heard of, but it has this really popular Hotties thread that they go to for the......articles. They stumbled upon it back in December while looking up actors in Harry Potter movies, because they'd heard one of the guys bears an amazing resemblance to Edward.
