I asked this question of Ms. Meyer last night but perhaps her answer would be TMI for BD, but I'd still love to know all of your answers!

If you were Bella, would you make the choice to become a vampire or not? And why? Or why not? :wink:

OK I'm not looking at this completely practically, but I'd have to say I would change.

It's the truest of true love. This isn't just a couple of people who love each other a lot. It's the deepest, purest, life altering love out there. I would do anything for that kind of love, it transcends everything else. And we're talking about Edward, hubba, hubba.

I have 2 answers I guess, as I sat here and pondered this...

If when I met my husband ( I was 19), and he was a vampire and I loved him just like I loved him then and now, I would want to be changed - our future would have been whatever it was meant to be from there.

But if tomorrow someone knocked on my door selling bites, I wouldnt want it because my husband and my son as they are now are what I want more then anything.

uh, heck yes! :D the reason why: "If all else perished, and he remained, i should still continue to be; and if all else remained, and he were annihilated, the universe would turn to a mighty stranger". There isn't really a choice to be made. :wink:

Change me everytime! I've said it before, if I could live "forever," and choose to go about the earth doing good; I would not be isolated b/c I have a family of my own kind, and a love like Edward's. Bite me- now!

If I were Bella, I definetely would! I mean, first of all, it's Edward we're talking about! Enough said!!!

But other than that, as Jenny was saying, it really is the truest of true love....who wouldn't want to have true love for all of eternity?? ...SO she might have to slaughter some cows and penguins and drink their blood... It's a small price to pay for Edward! I mean, it's Edward we're talking about! (oh yeah...I think I already mentioned that...) :shock:

So as Bella, yes I would. So bite her already! BITE HER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!!! :twisted:

I think what Rhonda said about being in love and your future being whatever it was meant to be totally applies. Who of us knows what we're getting into when we fall in love? We just jump and deal with whatever it is that that love throws at us... so my answer is YES!
