I would change.. not a second thought. To spend eternity with my soul mate... not a question

2 WORDS.... HELL YES!

As much as I love the idealized idea I have of Edward's life (and other vampire chronicles I've read) I'm going to have to say no. I think that my soul would be eternally damned. I agree that you can do a lot of good like the Cullen have but without a soul I just can't see me giving up on an eternity in heaven for an eternity on earth.

"i cannot live without my life! i cannot live without my soul!"

this line says it all for me. for the truest of true love, yes, i will choose to be changed.

BUT, unlike bella, i wouldn't mind if i had a couple more years to still be human after marrying edward. i kind of understand where edward is coming from, about being so adamant on not changing bella yet just to give her a little more time to live a normal, human life. after all, bella has barely begun her adult life. i wouldn't mind going through college first (it might actually be a fun experience to go through that with edward). most, most important of all, its what will make edward happy -- just a few more years, its such a simple request from someone who has been so incredibly considerate and utterly selfless. like edward keeps on saying, compromise is always a good thing.

just an additional thought:

yes, i choose to be changed, but i don't mind if it will be a couple of years delayed because:

i realize that being with edward as a human will be a totally different experience than being with edward as a vampire. if i were a vampire already, i will surely miss those days when edward will be so very tender and cherishing with the way he deals with me, fragile and breakable human that i am.

i mean gosh, don't you all just love the very careful and tender and protective way that edward handles bella all the time in the books??? who wouldn't want to be cherished and babied THAT way??? ~ sigh ~~

I would do it in a second! And I want to qualify by saying that I have put a lot of thought into this Probably way too much. And I've decided that in order to be with Edward for eternity, I would be willing to become immortal, take the chance that I would kill innocent people, never see my family again, and eventually watch those around me die. I honestly think it would be worth it in Bella's situation. I really don't think she can live without him at all - the pain would kill her. So, all the sacrifices would be worth the final prize. GO BELLA!! Do It Girl! Do It! Do It!

If I experienced that kind of love with a vampire, I wouldn't give it a second thought either. I'd want to be with him forever. It would be tough tho, as I am very close to my family, but I'm such a romantic...

Remember at the end of Eclipse when Bella said that sometimes there is just no way to compromise? I think that applies perfectly in this situation too. She doesn't like the idea of growing old as a human, she is not safe as one, and she can't live without Edward. So, no compromise - she has to chose to be a vampire.

Without a single doubt. If I found that kind of passion/love. . .BITE ME NOW!

I made my son promise to bite me if he ever became a vamp. . . and I promised the same!

On a serious note, if all things are of God, then so are vampires? I do not believe for a second that the Cullens are without souls. I think that unconditional love is the highest tribute to God and don't our favorite vampires exemplify this?!?

Absolutely! You can only become a son of perdition if you choose to live as one. Carlisle has it right. Just because the hand was dealt doesn't mean you have to accept it.

In a New York Minute!!!! To have eternity to share with someone so magnificent, is the stuff dreams are made of.

Eternal love with your soulmate or limited time with your loved ones? I would have to chose the vampire life - no 2 ways about it. The chance to find unconditional love is just not something I could live with if I chose to pass it up. I would still have my family, but I would be miserable for the rest of my human life. I don't think there is much of a choice there

If it were me and the choice of a human life or eternal existence with my one true love? There would be no pause in my decision to be bitten and change.

I don't think my soul would be damned if I chose a "vegetarian" life. I don't think the cullens could love so unconditionally, so unselfishly or go against their very nature if they didn't have souls. There can't be a conscience without a soul (just my own humble opinion, I have no proof of this theory and I'm not a very religious person). I think there is a reason SM made the cullens the way they are. I think she will show us in BD that they do in fact have a soul.

I'm all for a happy ending for Bella and Edward I just can't bear to think about this ending in a tragedy

Bella has found with Edward everything she wanted. It´s good that she had plenty time to think it through because she will loose much. But I would prefer to spend forever time with my Edward than to be human and to die at eighty... So you can be together for eternity.
