Ok, that makes me sound WAY older than I really am. I'm a very young 44, but I do have two grandsons, 2 and 6 mo, so go along with my 6 kids.
It's my daughters fault I'm a twilight fan. First off, we are a family very much into reading. The harry potter books are literally falling apart from being read so much. She is very picky about what she reads though. She was home doing her laundry (they never really leave), she is a sophmore in college, and I noticed a book she had. She tried to hide it, and got a bit agitated when I started reading the description because love story and/or vampire is so not her! She kept repeating 'it's not like that' as I looked at her with a raised eyebrow.

She declared I had to read them now so I would 'get it'.
Well, I got it!
My older dd, the one with the kids, has also been indoctrinated. There are also several nieces, so at family get togethers we get alot of eyerolls if we start talking twilight.
My dd's and I are taking a road trip in may to go to a Host book signing, family bonding is important, right?!
I currently live in Idaho, the husband teaches at the University, BUT, I grew up in Seattle, so all the descriptions of the pacific northwest in the books just make me terribly homesick! And I will take rain over wind any day! Like I said, I have six kids, two girls, almost 23 (married with two of her own) and 20, and four boys, 16, 12, 8, 6. I have been married just shy of 24 years. I work at the high school as a cook. Not the best pay, but you can't beat the hours. I'm at work when the kids are in school, and home when they are! I enjoy being around all the kids as well.
I discovered you all from the twilight lexicon. I try not to be overly obbessed, and I mainly just check the news stuff at the lexicon, because while I dearly love teenagers, I have moved past the stage in my life where I jump up and down and scream at the mere mention of something twilightish. I'm excited to talk to a more 'mature' group. (and yes, I know it is terribly mature to be obbessed with a bunch of vampires

)
If I forgot something you want to know, just ask away!
