Corneille - You have given this a lot of thought. Now I think I will have to think about it more! I like the idea of the vampires being the Greek gods.

(Twilight pg 134). I believe that is was about Marcus (please correct me if I am wrong) and how he save Jane and Alec from being burned at the stake.

Oh, that's something I hadn't thought of and I like that. That really makes sense and how he would be more feared as a vampire. Something else I just thought of and I don't know if it's been mentioned, but has anyone thought that maybe Aro isn't all powerful vampire? Like maybe he doesn't have any other powers besides the one like Edwards. He thirsts for more power and maybe that's why he surrounds himself w/ these powerful vampires?

I never had until you brought it up very interesting it would make sense on why is always on the look out for more people that have wonderful powers

Or he has a power complex where nobody can be better then him
