I'm just wondering if anyone has considered making Twilight- (or Host-) themed teapots, teacups, tea sets, tea trays, tea towels, and tea cozies? (And golf tees?...Nah, I'm teasing).

That's an excellent idea, Shimmerskin!

I'm horrible at ceramics (I took a class once and successfully blew up pretty much eveything I made in the kiln), but I've been playing around with embroidery a bit. I should try my hand at some Twilight tea towels. I'm also a knitter- I think I could whip up a pattern for a tea cozy! Aghhh- now I just need the time to play with these fun ideas!

OME! A Twilight themed tea party would be so much fun! Sigh, I love tea...

Me, too, me, too! And so does Ruth!! Start the Animal House style chanting--"Tea-GA, Tea-GA, Tea-GA!" If you make them big enough we can drape ourselves in the tea towels....

If you'll be experimenting with the knitting, you could start with just a mini cozy. (For my Cattitude mini teapot, of course).

But we still need a ceramist....there's a cool (read: inexpensive) site in Maryland that sells unglazed whitewear--including cups, teapots--if someone with skills wanted to paint on them...but then where do you go to get them glazed if you don't own a kiln? I'm pretty clueless about this stuff. I've never even been to that paint-your-own-pottery place in the mall. Too exposed. I can't attempt anything artistic if there are people about. It would be like Bella playing volleyball. A painful thing to watch, IOW.
