I wanted to buy one as my next car, but they're a tad expensive here in TX so I ended up with a Pontiac

I just watchd this for the 1st time and laughed and laughed!! That is one of the cutest things I've ever seen him do! LOL

So the other night my Boyfriend had planned an amazing dinner for us (which led me to believe he was up to something) But it was amazing really. We have been together for two years and he loves my Son Kullen . He also is okay with my addiction to Twilight well Edward. Because before Edward Justin is my hero he is a fiefighter . Anyway we go to this nice dinner and Justin is so nervous i figured ahe was going to give me bad news like he was switching stations again or has to work on a night i need him off. BUT OH BOY was i wrong we go to dinner we eat we talk and Justin then says i feel like desert me i said "no no i am so full" he says "come on share some cheesecke with me" "Fine fine but i want chococlate then" (of course). So the waiter brings out the cheescake sets it in front of me and i get my fork ready to dig in. I look down and on the desert is the most wonderful engagement ring ever it happened to be the one i pointed out to my sister at Tiffany's on a recent shhopping trip in Houston. (i knew there was a reason we went in there). Needless to say i manage to look up at Justin and He is on one knee asking to marry me i scream YES *OME* YES. then we both hug and cry and then both our families come meet us everyone had knowen but ME even Kullen (little stinker). let me also point out that between both out families which our big realy big i am the only one who is into Twilight. My mom and Justins mom both come up to me and say "Well now you can be obssesed with planning a wedding" My eyes get huge and i look at Justin and say "*OME* HUN WE CAN HAVE A TWILIGHT THEMED WEDDING IN FORKS *OME*" he politly says "no babe no we cant" My whole family new and old just froze and looked at me i staretedto laugh and say just kidding ha ha and my dad pipes up and replies "to bad you werent and you would have a twilight themed wedding if you could" Which he is right i would have done that.
But i thought that i would just share this story with you and let you know how much i LOVE Twilight!! But on March 28 i get to marry my Edward my hero!! And my colors are black and red but with a firefighter theme!!!

That's romantic stuff right there, CONGRATS!!

rebecca_wcc, that is SO romantic - congratulations!!!!!!!!! I love that everyone knew about it but you - good secret keepers in your family, lol! And a ring from Tiffany's - ooh la la! I bet it's gorgeous! Maybe you can get some hair combs with blue stones to wear on your wedding day and that can be your nod to Twilight.

You know i could not believe my son didnt tell me i thought he told me everything. I was just shocked at the ring myself it was something i NEVER excpected at all. After we were in the car justin said "I cant believe you didnt comment on the ring at first instead you made a TWILIGHT reference and on top of that we live in Texas and you would want to go to Forks to get married?" I couldnt say anything except "well the ring is so much, and the View Point Inn is a really nice location" Of course I had to explain what the View Point was he only said "ooohhhh Jeezzz " My son in the back who was listening to all this piped up and said (he is only 4) " Mom if you really want some vampire in the wedding i will walk down the isle way in a black suit with a cape and be a ring vampire kid" I laughed and then pictured that anythig for Kullan to wear a cape. I am just super lucky to have two great guys who can deal with my obsession and still love me!!! And i will put some TWILIGHT flair in my wedding even if it is a firefighter them, i mean i already have my black and red colors!!

Ok so this is sort of stupid but I'm going to share this with you anyway ... I've been trying to imagine since the first time I read Twilight what the growling noise the vamps make would sound like in the movie ... so I've sort of come up with something. The other night without thinking about it ... my bf said something to me and kinda ticked me off but in a playful way without thinking about it I sort of tilted my head forward looked up at him and made this gutteral growling sound at hime with my lip kind of curled up at him ... he was like *What the French Toast* and laughed ... we both sort of laughed really hard cause I think he figured out what I was doing. That eased the tension in the room.

Ladies if you want your hubbys, bfs, fiancees to fear you ... do that!

Sorry have to share

I met up with a former co-worker of mine to have tapas and Twilight on Tuesday night. I "changed" her a little over a week ago and we hadn't had time to chat about it yet.

I had decided on the Beef Metambre because it sounded like something I wouldn't easily make at home. She was eyeballing the ravioli. I laughed and wondered out loud if it might be a mushroom ravioli. She'd only read the book once so she missed my reason for amusement. I reminded her about Bella eating at the Italian restaurant. When the server came to take our order she wanted more info on the ravioli since the description was a little vague. When he said it was mushroom, she declined and I snorted and changed my mind. Goofy but it seemed appropriate for my first Twilght chat.

If you choose to watch this, the site that Alice wants to have the wedding is where I spent a fabulous few days with my husband on our honeymoon. It's on Vancouver Island at the Sooke Harbour House. I live in KY so to see our "meadow" included in something about Twilight was a bit surreal. I showed my husband when he came home from work and he was a bit surprised as well.

Sigh... these books take me to my dreamy place on some days, my silly -- I am so not a grown up giggling over mushroom ravioli on others and somehow make me feel strong and powerful too -- in charge of my own destiny. How does SM do it?

so I do childcare at a gym and tonight this little girl had on flip flops and they were all sparkly. well she took them off and when her mom came back to get her she was looking for her shoe and she found it. she said " ah I was just looking for something sparkly." I couldn't help but laugh a little and think to myself me to his name is edward.
