WOW! You ladies are awesome! The contrast between the pictures are amazing. You have all inspired me to do some serious work around my house. Heck, I'll even go out and give my car a real good cleaning as well. Cheers to all of you who were brave enough to post your pictures as well. I think everyone who posted pictures should win something just on bravery alone! BRAVO!

AWESOME JOB ladies! it was just like seeing one of those shows on hgtv! i'm just glad i don't have to choose the winner--EVERYONE did an amazing job! feels niiiiiice, doesn't it? WAY TO GO!!!

You all have my vote for such sincere efforts but IsabellaCullen you are amazing. You must have been so busy with all those rooms to discover. Unfortuataly I did not really have a good "before" picture on my project of choice which I began before the contest but I willingly let go of my nomination in favor of any of you ladies who have done such a great job cleaning up.

Thanks!! I joke with a friend of mine that I am more like Bella every day ..... so when I make a decision, I stick to it! I'm still in awe that I finished the rooms (I even cleaned up my living room, but I didn't take before pics, so I didn't include them here).

The rooms STILL look mostly the same which has me thrilled! (there is laundry to be put away in my daughters' room, and this mornings breakfast dishes are in the sink) ....

Sometimes I just need the motivation !! hahahaha ...

Thanks also to zanna & Shanda for posting your thoughts on the thread! I'm sure that the other ladies feel just as I do -- that we appreciate your comments and accolades! Its always nice to feel that others like what you have done!

We have continued to work on renovating the kids' bedrooms; if you're interested in seeing what they look like now, I have new pics in my (edited) original post in this thread.

After our computer crashed and then being gone at girls camp last week I just knew I'd be too late to post when I could get back online.
Now I just need to go re-clean a litte since I was gone for a week then I'll take my pictures and post them this evening.

Wow. Those "after" shots are amazing! I'm totally inspired to clean my house! Well, after I move. My house is in general disarray since I'm moving across the city at the end of August....but I'm motivated to keep my new apartment clean after seeing those! (I also suddenly realized why my mother always wanted me to keep my bedroom door closed as a child...I'm ashamed to admit that my room looked very similar to several bedrooms showed on this thread! :p)

I first want to say how wonderful everyone elses houses look!

Here is our Living Room BEFORE:

After cleaning up my hubby was able to start setting up his huge fish tank.
So here it is AFTER:


When I looked at the before pictures again today I couldn't belive the difference. Yeah!

As with most of you our bedroom was the place everything without an official home gathered. Here is our Bedroom BEFORE:

We rearranged the furniture too. Here it is AFTER:

We can even close the closet doors again!


Unfortunately my kitchen isn't picture worthy yet. We did get the cooking side of the kitchen cleaned up before I went to camp, but then it didn't stay that way. And as for all my stuff over on our table - I've still got to find it a permanent home. It's not going into my bedroom!!

Now to go to bed and enjoy my clean room again!
