Everyones pictures look great.

The picure sizes are off but I am sick today and photobucket and the drug enduced stupor just don't mix.


Here is the living room. Somehow no mater what I do that lump is always on the couch.


I can’t take credit here She is 5 and cleaned up herself. It isn’t clean but it is progress.


Mt Laundry has receded!


The dinning room has also be freed of Laundry.


The basement almost didn’t get done. I was going to suck it up that I couldn’t get it all done. Then the basement flooded this past Wednesday. I tell you nothing cleans out a pack rat like water damage.


There is still a small pile left, but with a 5 year old drama queen who changes clothes 3 times a day it will never be all done.


The shelves aren’t perfectly organized but they are at least accessible now.

I didn't finish all of my rooms. Instead I spent most of the 3 weeks completely redoing my bedroom and now it looks fabulous! I haven't had a chance to upload the pictues yet but I will plan on getting them up tomorrow. Great Job Ladies!!!

Okay, I hope this works, I have 2 before and 2 after. If you can't tell which is which, I'm disqualified.
We got rid of a lot of Junk, moved the table to the corner, brought the piano in from the adjoining living room, which also got new carpet and paint. The table and couch are being stored until my daughter gets married. I know some of you worked miracles, but my house doesn't smell like dog pee anymore, so I declare myself odor winner! LOL
Now I'll add a few of the living room, just for fun.

Way to go Beautiful Disaster! I AM IMPRESSED! You really did a great job! I wondered how you were going to accomplish all that in your time limit but you never cease to amaze me. I LOVE the butterfly border and the clouds are a work of art! You have more artistic talent than you give yourself credit for. A huge pat-on-the-back for you, and 6 atta girls!!

Wow!!! You ladies are amazing! I have three weeks before I go back to school...you've just inspired me to clean my own house! Great job!!!

To respond to a few comments -- yes I feel very happy & liberated now with the more organized condition of the house! And no, sorry, I don't clean other homes -- though I guess that would depend on the form of payment involved!

I'm dying to see who wins the contest!! Though it looks like we all won!

This is my 1,000th post! WOW!!

A quick recap of my before pictures...


I spent soooo much time working on cleaning and painting my bedroom that I never really had a chance to work on the kitchen & living room
more than to clean some of the clutter, not enough for new pictures. But I love my new bedroom, it is much more relaxing and enjoyable now
that the color is brighter and the exesive clutter is gone. I also was finally able hang my pictures and shelf on the walls and they look great!
My husband was even agreeable to getting new bedding to match the new color.



My husband completed cleaning up the storage room even while he helped me with painting and wallpapering the bedroom.
He did a great job with the storage room, everything now is put away or stacked neatly and not only can you see through
from one door to the others but you can walk through!

And I need to say, the hair and other stuff that I was tweezing out was so gross, I was gagging lol.

It feels so nice to have a clean bathroom and to take a shower in my own bathroom
