I totally agree with Nicole! I would love to read about Edwards point of view in New Moon! If they do a movie on it then they should show Edward and what he does through too. If they don't then Rob won't be in to many scenes in New Moon Sad and we can't have that! I know we all love Jacob but I want to see ROB/EDWARD! I'll see it either way tho Mr. Green

I was thinking about this, do you remember for Bella it was like empty pages like October, November....I think it would be similar to that from Edward's perspective. Although, I would love his take on the time of Bella's B-Day until he leaves her. Depressssssing!

I was thinking about NM in a movie form and I thought, they are not going to make it into a movie. It's too depressing, as much as I love Jacob Black I don't really want to SEE Bella be so depressed. I can imagine it just fine. Then I thought, what if they squeezed NM into the beginning of Eclipse? So we didn't have to go through the whole movie being depressed but just a little bit of it.

Now NatNat, we all love a movie that provides a good cry ever once in a while. Besides, I'm sure that they will flash to Edward ever so often so we can see what he is suffering through while he is away from Bella.

Not to mention what a drama like that can do for Kristin's and Robert's career...

ME...I'll probably be gasping for air through my tears...

Ya know, I could actually see them combining New Moon and Eclipse for a sequel. A very LONG sequel, but you wouldn't really want to make a sequel where your star (Robert Pattinson) isn't really in it for that long. His character is the draw. At least for me anyway.

I can't wait for this book. She could tell the entire story from his pov. I'd love to know what he was doing when he left Bella...

Nicole,

Great idea. Stephenie should tell all the books from Edward's point of view. It would be very interesting to read.

If you think about it the NM part is really not going to be that long and during the Eclipse part they could have a lot of "flash backs" from NM so that non-readers will know what is going on.

I really think that 2in1 would be better than 2 movies. I mean, really think about it, how many of us just skipped/skimmed the whole middle part of NM the FIRST time we read it. Now, I have gone back and read it again and again but most people will only see the movie once. It's tooooooo depressing to just watch it once and then have to wait a whole year to see how it all ends in Eclipse.

But I think what they will really do is wait and see how Twilight does and then they will make that decision.

But, think about what they could do visually with the Quilitte stiries around the campfire...

Think about the drama of Bella suffering...

Think about the drama of Edward suffering...

The whole Italy trip and the Volturi..

I would love to see all of that

I guess it's me. I can't stand the suffering part. I love happy, happy. It hard for me to even go into "The Sadness of Edward" part of this forum. Wink I hate suffering.

I don't want to see the two books combined into one movie. Yeah it'll be tough w/not so much Edward but you need those important miccle parts of the book w/o Edward around to understand the entire story. And I would hope they wouldn't cut short Volterra. That's the best part! I'll go see them all more than once. There was a blog on MTV today about possibly filming the movies back to back so the actors don't age too much. I think that'd be smart. But I'm not the actors so I'm not sure what there take on it would be. But it would mean we'd get to see the sequels on the big screen much faster! Mr. Green

You know I read that too and it came to me Idea That it sounded like they really are thinking of shooting BOTH films. Of course they are still going to wait until they know if Twilight is successful (I know it will be successful, don't you?) to move ahead, but it sounds like they are thinking of filming them both so maybe this argument is moot. I would be happy if they did them both. I guess that I just hope that they don't wait too long between NM and Eclipse.

NatNat, you are just tender hearted, that all. We have to experience Edward's suffering, to truely appreciate his happy times.

What a sweet way of putting that...I've always thought I was just a sucker for happy endings! Wink

Ditto a 1000 times! Laughing One thing I was thinking, though, was how Steph has said something about how there is alot from Forever Dawn that will be in Breaking Dawn. On her website, in the 'Craptastic Covers' tab, she talks about Forever Dawn and shows the cover that she used for it. It's a girl with red eyes. I had to wonder if that's Bella and if she really did turn her when she wrote Forever Dawn. So it gives me hope that it really will happen. Shocked

Ok I am fairly new to Twilight and I am perplexed. What is Forever Dawn?

After Stephenie wrote Twilight, before it got published I think, she wrote Forever Dawn--kind of an ending for Twilight. Then she got published and they wanted three books, so she had to back up and create what happened between Twilight and Forever Dawn. Finally, she is writing Breaking Dawn and it has a lot of the same things Forever Dawn had in it. No one but Stephenie's family has read Forever Dawn (I'm supposing.) As far as we know she gave it to her sister who encouraged her to publish Twilight to begin with. I hope this helps.
