I just got mine today for Mothers Day! I don't know how my family would have know that was what I wanted....hahahaha...could have been the blatant hints and printed off Borders coupon....nah...they just really know me well...

Will be reading a lot for the next few days. I'll be sure to check in tho'...lol.

Finished The Host over the weekend after several marathon reading sessions...loved it! I have to say that I was prepared not to like this book, simply because it isn't Twilight, but I fell in love with the new characters. I think I have a new crush on Ian, he kind of reminds of Edward.

SM was right about this book being less a scifi story and really more of a love story...she has a knack for writing about the inherent humanity in non-human beings.

:lol: I'm so happy....I finally got my copy of The Host today, just fixing to start reading it. I will let you know how it is....but I feel it's going to be good, the reviews on Amazon were great.

I got the host on may 6th for the Houston signing and have now read it through 2 times,its as good as I had hoped it would be.I now know that anything Stephenie writes will be amazing.I loved Twilight so much could not imagine I would like the Host as much as I did.Hope she writes a sequal.

I also reread the book right after I finished it the first time. I loved it and I just wasnt read for it to end just yet.

So far I have not been able to get into the Host like I did the TW books. I truly believe it is because I am way busier right now, with both boys in baseball and trying to finish up work! May 16th was my last day at school so I am full on HOST now. I can say I still love, love SM's writing style. She just brings everything to life for the reader!

P.S. Turned another friend onto the TW series and she is loving it! These books are helping her get through bed rest while pregnant!
