I pre-ordered mine from Amazon, and I got an email saying it has shipped, so I guess I'll get it tomorrow. Can't wait!!!

Me too, but when I preordered the last HP I recieved it on the day it was offically released. I wonder why The Host will be the day after.

I just picked up my copy! I can't wait until my daughter goes to bed tonight so I can read it :) I'm debating whether to start it when she takes a nap later but then I'm afraid I'm gonna get really into it and then I won't won't be able to finish until it's her bed time. That might drive me crazy but I don't want to wait that long!

I have to go pick mine up from the store that's sponsoring the book signing. They are 45 minutes away from me. BOO!! So I can't get it until tomorrow.

I packed all the kids up in the car (three lol), dropped one off at school and headed over to McDonalds to get me and one child (the other, our third Isabella, is a baby lol, so no McD's for her) breakfast and then we headed to Borders about three minutes from our house to wait a half hour for it to open lol. I was first in the door, first at the register and had my book in 4 minutes WOOHOO lol. So now, kids are napping and I am getting ready to start The Host :mrgreen:

I've only read the first three chapters of The Host so far. (It took me a day or so to refcover from being up all night with all of the ladies at Borders in Provo). So far it's awesome of course. It's definately different than Twilight though. As they said it is an adult book.

Yep - I'm about to Chapter 4. It's much different from Twilight. But I'm enjoying it.
