Here are a couple more I read this week.

Bitten & Smitten (Immortality Bites, Book 1) by Michelle Rowen and Fanged and Fabulous. These are fun romance books - but by romance I mean clean romance - I'd give them a PG rating really. I have not read book 3 as it is not in my library!

Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber - I've read the first three in this series. They are a teen series about a Goth girl who wants to become a vampire and meets a boy who turns out to be a vampire. They have romance, but are clean - another PG rating.

Just incase it hasn't been mentioned in awhile I recommend the Black Dagger Brotherhood Series. I'm addicted and have managed to take some my friends down with me. Fair warning though they're a little smutty. And by a little I mean a lot. But really who doesn't need a little smut in their lives. Right? :D

Thanks Keisha. Other people have suggested that one to me too. I have the 1st 2 on my shelves. Unfortunately, they are sett behind the Anita Blake Series and the Outlander series.

Please tell me you've read them!?

Oh, and Lynsay Sands's Argenau vampire series. Fun and quick reads!
* A Quick Bite
* Love Bites
* Single White Vampire
* Tall, Dark & Hungry
* A Bite to Remember
* Bite Me If You Can
* The Accidental Vampire
* Vampires are Forever
* Vampire, Interrupted

I don't know why these do not have their own thread. They are really quick reads, funny and sexy and have a very quirky theory of where vampires came from.

Hello, everyone! I know I'm new and everything, but I've pretty much been spending the last 2 or 3 months reading any kind of Vamp books I can get my hands on, so I thought I'd chime in.

I just started the MaryJanice Davidson series and I'm really enjoying them! They are lighter, but sarcastic and fun. Think Janet Evanovich meets Buffy.

I've also ripped through the Southern Vampire series and really enjoyed it. Sookie is awesome.

A series that I haven't seen mentioned so far is the Jeaniene Frost "Night Huntress" books. The first one is "Halfway to the Grave." The main character is Kat, who is half vampire and likes to kick butt. There are a few fairly racy scenes in it, so be warned. The hero/vamp, Bones, is what really makes the series (despite his lame name).

I really enjoyed "Sunshine." Robin McKinley is very imaginative and has built a great world. I really hope she writes a sequel.

Sorry to just but in. I new here but I have been lurking for awhile. I have gotten a lot of ideas and picked up some books I would never have known about from this thread.

I am currently on the third book of the the Wicked series by Nina Bangs ...Wicked Fantasies. They are pretty good if you like some good steamy romance.

I read the two of these (I think there is a third coming out in the winter) and I have to say there is a scene in the second book with Kat and Bones that is :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: - that hot - be warned.

I just read "Blood is the new Black" by Valerie Stivers. It is kind of like "The Devil Wears Prada" with vampires running the magazine. I think she must be writing a sequel because it had a pretty open ending. I'd rate this one PG-13 for violence - there is some romance, but nothing remotely graphic.

Thanks for mentioning that scene - I think I am still blushing. I actually did a double take when I read it. It almost felt out of place, which is kind of too bad, because I really enjoyed the rest of both books.

I really enjoyed Half Way to the Grave and I am now reading One Foot in the Grave. Haven't gotten to the hot scene yet :wink: Bones reminds me a bit of Spike :wink: I am looking forward to the third. These are definately adult content books but nothing wrong with that :wink:

Hum, I have read alot of vampire novels... But I have not read the Night huntress novels. Ill have to read those next.. I love the Dark series by Christine Feehan.. Dark Gold is my favorite.. I read all of them and I am waiting for the next one to come out... I believe there are at least 9 of 10 in her series.. Her books are very much romantic... I love the way the men treatthe women in these.. They are steamy and that is what makes them so good... I also love Susan Sizemore her series are great.. I burn for you, I thirst for you are the first two in the series. She has about seven out in these series..

One more series that I love is teh Riley series by Kerri Arthur.. Riley is half vampire and half wolf.. She get into a lot of trouble and these books keep you on the edge of your seat..

My problem is that I read just about everything out there and it is getting hard for me to find new material to read, because when I really like a book I can read it in two days...

I just read another YA vampire book called THE SOCIETY OF S by Susan Hubbard and it is EXCELLENT!! Truly, one of the best written YA novels in this genre. It is a coming of age story about a young girl who is discovering her true nature and is insightful and clever and just a really good read. It is extremely clean (PG) and one you can safely recommend to anyone!

Before I joined TM's, I was lurking in all the book threads, reading with great anticipation all the suggestions on new books I could try to fill in those moments when I wasn't wallowing and re-wallowing in Forks. hehe
The first ones I tried were Nora Roberts Circle Trilogy and I can't thank you all enough for recommending those fabulous books. Sigh. All the characters were great but Cian was a slam dunk for me. :**: Hmmm.....what books to try next? :D Eenie, Meenie, Minie Mo....
