So I just read on the SM site the note from Stephenie saying she is done writing Midnight Sun because of the leak. I didnt know it was leaked but im so so so sos sosososososoosososososososo MAD that someone ruined it for everyone!!

I for one want my shiney copy next to Twilight still!! I want it please please please!! Oh man Ive been and I know that so many of us have been biting our nails trying not to ask too often when we would get to buy it.

Im just crushed. I hope this makes sense. I hope Stephenie will cool off enough to someday finish it. ..maybe wishful thinking.

I jsut feel for Stephenie you know! we were all so excited. Sorry if i got a little negative. I am excited to read what there is at least she is offering that much for sure.

It is too bad that someone who Stephenie trusted did this and that because of it this project is being put on hold. I was afraid this would be her reaction when the leak first happened. It's a bitter sweet event since we can all finally read what is there, but sad because we may have to wait quite a long time to see the completed and final copy.

I did it mostly so that people wouldn't think that it was just another thread about the leak.

I'm conflicted...

While I DO want to read the draft, at the same time, I don't. I want the WHOLE story, not half. I flipped to the last page of the draft to see where it ends, and of course my favorite scenes from Twilight aren't included in the draft. *sigh*

I'm absolutely livid that someone would leak it to the internet, and that literally ruined the MS experience for millions of people--including the author.

Well now we know Jasper has been Jazz at home since the beginning

I am so saddened by what happened. I am really glad that TwilightMOMS was so diligent about keeping the MS leak off the boards - especially given how upset & betrayed SM feels. My heart breaks for her.

Will we ever get MS now?? ARG!! I am angry that it was ruined for everyone else. I hope that in a few years, she is able to revisit the project & get back inside Edward's head. And Stephenie should not give out any more copies!

That being said, I am all over reading those pages on her website now!! Glad I have my bound copy of the 1st chapter too!

I did the same thing, flipped to the end to see how far it got, and I just don't want to read it only half done! What a horrible, terrible thing to have happen! I am just stunned, and I feel so awful for Stephenie! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I was looking so forward to this. I'm sooooo disappointed!

I am sad that I won't be able to read it soon, or possibly ever... But I am behind her on this 100%.

I have been so angry all week because this has happened and it was obviously hurting her. SO angry. I can only imagine what she has been feeling.

And here I was being a good girl and waiting for her to release it before I read *any* at all. I never even peeked at the first chapter she had on her site.


I do feel bad for her and understand the reasoning...I wish there were some way for her to just finish it for those of us who didn't participate in the 'theft'.

Wouldn't that be nice? A special treat for those who are just as upset as she is. *sigh*

I know, since I saw that her MySpace said 'Camel's back, meet the last straw...' I figured it related to this leak. I hope she is not too angry to ever go through with it. I hate being happy about something that makes her upset.

I jsut cant bring myself to read it. Maybe we could start a "lets bribe Stephenie into writing the whole thing" club and do all kinds of fun things to put her into a more loving place so maybe there will be a chance:D...like start with a love petition like were kinda already doing here...k im not very inventive...haha...but we have to do something! im sooo sad. its weird I know its just a book but its nice to know that there are really thousands of us that probably feel the same way.

This is so sad. I am not going to read it because it's not what she really wanted us to read. I support her decision though. I wouldn't want to write it anymore either. I just hope that she's able to get past this with the person who, hopefully inadvertently, leaked it.
