Hey guys Steph was just on a radio show in Portland and was asked about Midnight Sun, she said there is a lot more action from his POV and that we can see more car chase scenes! I am curious as to what you all think this might center around. Besides him finding Bella in Port Angeles and the stuff with James what else may have happened? Do you think perhaps he had to do a lot more racing around to keep her safe than we (or she) realize?

The first thing I thought of was hunting. He has to hunt more to be around Bella so I thought of the movie trailer where he goes after that poor deer. Of course, I think we will get his POV during the time that he and Emmett go bear hunting.

We know Edward won't drive fast with Bella because she asked him not too, but by himself, he drives fast. He also does a lot of running and sneaking between his and Bella's houses. All the vampires have to be so sneaky, it will be a great read!

Oh, SM didn't happen to mention a time frame for MS did she?

Maybe he went back after those guys who tried to attack her in Port Angeles after all...ooooh, Edward could have secrets!

I want to read this book SO bad! Please let us know if she mentions at all when it might be out!

She just said that she'd get back to working on it after The Host tour so that's all I know!

I just about cried when she said she was going to start working on it after the tour. I wouldn't care how many pages it had, I think 1-2 thousand might scratch the surface. Stephenie could write 5K pg books and I'd scoop them up in a heartbeat without a second thought! Breaking Dawn, Twilight the Movie, and now Midnight Sun, good things come in 3's also! WE LOVE YOU STEPHENIE. I do get the SM/MS, there are no coincidences!! It's fate!!

I really don't think he would do that. Maybe I'm wrong but he was using all his control to NOT kill those guys, I just don't see him going back after he has calmed down. But I can't wait to read about it from his POV!!

that soon?? yay!!! so this means there's a big possibility that she will be able to finish MS before the year ends!!!! that would mean a first quarter of 2009 release of the book??? wow, it would be great to have MS soon after seeing twilight on the big screen.

mulling over on a few possibilities myself, namely:

1. maybe someone from his family (other than carlisle) tried to chase him
when he was on his way to alaska to try to clear his head of his bloodlust
for bella? maybe that someone (possibly alice? or emmet?) tried to get
him to come back and talk about his "bella problem". maybe esme
wanted him to come back badly, too.

2. yes, the phoenix and other james scenes. stephenie must have
expounded on that. maybe, just maybe, victoria ended up going to
phoenix as well, to help james out and tried to distract the cullens while
they were racing to save bella from james.

these are the possibilities i could think of at the moment. i don't think he went back to port angeles to hunt down those guys, though. i mean he tried so hard to control his temper and all. . . .

That's true, Victoria could have something to do with the action part too. Of course, his speeding race to Denali- didn't he say he got there the next day? That's pretty fast!

Wow! MS mentioned in an interview! I am soooo excited with this news. I can't wait to get my hands on this book. I hope she is further along than to Ch 12 as the last I heard. What else did she say about MS?
