Stephenie - I am so saddened by what happened with the MS leak. My heart breaks for you. I am also upset that it was ruined for the rest of your fans...like us! I hope that in a few years, you are able to revisit the project & get back inside Edward's head.

I really think this is a great way to send a message whoever did this and to theives everwhere. HUGE repercussions. I just wish we all didnt have to suffer (bozos). Having said that I totally understand and back you up. I hope that you feel our love and support. I wish I could give ya a big hug. That would probably be strange for you to get all kinds of hugs from strangers who think they know you but seriously I really hope you bounce back and embrace all the love we have for you..

of course we will always be in the background buzzing "oollalalalla you want to write the book...look at us you know you do sitting there accross the way we dont got a lot to say but theres something about us:D... we know yer dying to try (wispers) you want to write the book" ...hehe

I'm incredibly sorry that someone has managed not only to ruin the Midnight Sun experience for your readers, but that they ruined your incredible joy/pain/emotional experience of writing the novel. It deeply saddens me to see you hurt and violated in that manner.

Please know that you have my support in whatever decision you choose to make.

You were the first person I ever put in a jar in my basement. THAT'S how much I lurrrve you! I would continue to make jokes about stalking you, but I'm afraid people would start to believe them and you would get a court order against me that I have to maintain a distance of at least 12 US states away from you at all times. And that would make book signings awkward due to the police officers dragging me out of line, kind of like that big sweaty guy in LA.
I could go on and on... but I won't because the fact remains that this website was created because of our love for YOU! We have all been brought together by YOU! We have met some of the best friends of our lives because of YOU! We have deeper relationships with our significant others because of YOU! We have strengthened the bonds between the generations with in our families because of YOU! We've found new enthusiasm for life because of YOU! We've remembered who we once were and talents we once used are in use again because of YOU! We have courage to do things we never would have otherwise because of YOU!

YOU have blessed our lives in ways you will never know.

I behind you whatever you chose! I love your writing and more importantly your ability to tell a story with real people and feeling. That is a gift and you are amazing. You have changed people with your books. I really do hope that you can heal the way you need to. You are loved!

I am so sorry this happened to you. Please know that there are many, many, many of us out there who support you in your decision about this, and want you to do what is best for you and your family and your peace of mind.

Gifts are given to us to share with others, and you have been given an amazing gift, to be able to touch the hearts of millions through your writing.

I am behind you completely and respect your decision to put the project on hold. As much as I wish it could be otherwise, I understand that this has affected your feelings toward the book. Just know that if in the future you feel you can publish Midnight Sun, all your fans will be in line to get their own copies of the book you intended it to be.

I just read the message you posted on your site, and am just in shock. I am so, so sorry that you have been violated in this manner. I completely understand why you feel you cannot continue work on MS at this time (or possibly ever). You have given so much to all of us, not only through sharing with us the Twilight universe, but also through the interaction and caring you have shown to your fans....for someone to do this to you, of all people, literally makes me sick to my stomach. As upset, irate, livid, sad, etc as I am right now, I cannot possibly even imagine what you must be going through over this. Please don't let whoever did this ruin Twilight for you - you have given so much to so many, Midnight Sun or no Midnight Sun. I hope you know how many of us out here are behind you 100%, whatever you choose to do.
