I plan to go to Northwoods. Who wants to coordinate this? We can all pm one person to get a count. I can do it if no one else wants to. I don't get back in town until that night. I planned my vacation before I knew the release date. What do you all think?

The message boards are going to be shut down as of Monday until August 3rd, think we should get a head count before then? If someone else goes count me in, so april if you want to go maybe we should PM each other closer to August 1 to make plans. Anyone else want to go?

I went to B&N at Northwoods last night. The event begins at 10pm. There will be games and other activities. The theme is the wedding reception (I hope there will be a wedding). They will begin giving out tickets to the event at 9 am. As far as I can tell, you have to get your own ticket. They may still have tickets if you get there at 10 pm. I am trying to get in touch with the person in charge of the party, but no luck so far. It was suggested that I call again on Monday. I will let everyone know what I find out then. Who else is planning to be there??

I can imagine a wedding cake cutting and passing of the cake. That could be YUM!

I know the last time there was plexiglass square container near the help desk towards the back of the store. It had a sign advertising Breaking Dawn's release. You could fill out a form to to pre-order the book and if you put your email on it, you were supposed to received an invitation to the wedding reception, ie: release party.

I pre-ordered BD yesterday and they've got a table set up by the Customer Service desk. They guy also said that it would be like the Harry Potter in the respect that you can go early on the 1st and get a grouping selection to buy your pre-ordered book so I think I'm going early on the 1st to get my group assignment so I don't have to wait for hours to get my book.

What is a group selection? When I went Thursday the guy wasn't really sure about how things would be done. Did they decide that each person could only get one ticket each? I'm still going to call the girl in charge tomorrow.
