Hey, I just saw the first episode of Roswell. I couldn't help but notice a few (just a few) similarities between the Liz and Max and Bella and Edward. Am I really off and grasping at straws? Does everything remind me of Twilight? (Well...yes  ) What do you guys think? Are there any Roswell fans out there? (Is there already thread for this. I looked and didn't find one...but things do escape my notice).

I am a huge fan of Roswell...I actually had Max as my Edward first time I read Twilight! And Rosalie was totally Isabel for me. Those two charcters just acted the same towards Bella/Liz.

The whole cafeteria scenes totally reminded me of Roswell too! I had wondered if Stephenie was secretly a Roswell fan when she wrote the books!!

I LOVE Roswell too. I just bought all 3 seasons on DVD awhile back without having seen a single episode and I was not disappointed at all. Max is so sexy! Especially on the one where he is older and has long hair...YUMMY!

I loved Roswell! It was an Alien show on the WB! Man...taking beck to my college days! If you are lucky you cancatch a few episodes here and there on the Sci Fi Channel! I just love that most of those actors are doing well for themselves now!

You should TIVO it. It was/is one of my fav TV shows. Its on Sci FI quite a bit im sure you can set the DVR or TIVO to pick it up whenever its on or you could rent the DVD's. I see some pretty big similarities to Bella and Edward and Max and Liz, thats cool that someone brought this up cause i hadnt thought about that before.

Did any of you take part in the Tobasco Campaign that brought Roswell back for their last season?

Location: No, ... moreactually, I did. Just look at the transcript.
I just checked the Entertainment section and I didn't see any threads about Roswell.

Oh I loved Roswell!! I actually discovered it on the SciFi channel back when my son was first born. I ended up buying all three seasons (the only TV show I have ever done that with) and love to watch it over and over!

I loved the Max/Liz relationship (even when Ava got in the way)! I wish it had lasted more than three seasons but at least they were able to wrap everything up with graduation and Max/Liz getting married. I am also excited that the same woman that did the music for Roswell is doing it for Twilight!
