Oh Roswell!! Loved it, also bought the dvd set. Only three seasons though, that was a bummer. I loved Max.

Oh, I'm so glad to see this thread! As soon as I started reading Twilight it reminded me so much of Max and Liz. I was just as obsessed with Roswell as I am with Twilight. I was involved in the Tabasco campaign, I wrote fanfic (had some of it on Crashdowncafe.com) and I used to post on Roswell message boards. I think that may be why I don't like Jacob - he reminds me too much of Tess! I just recently rewatched it all with my sister and we were swooning over it all over again.
:)

I sent in Tabasco too! I think Jake reminds me of Tess too! I taped all of the episodes and have the DVDs. I am keeping my VHS tapes since it has all of the original music on it.

Ok, so I've been watching the DVDs and I'm somewhere in the middle of season 2. I was a HUGE fan of the show when it was on, but as much as I loved it then, I love it even more now!

I'm so obsessed, that's all I want to watch now! I've gained a whole new appreciation for the show and it's characters now that I'm older...

And I cried when this time when I watched "The End of the World" episode, the ending broke my heart  Thank goodness they managed to keep the song "I Shall Believe". I started getting worried that they didn't, and that would have been awful! I wish they were able to keep all the original music, I'm hoping they re-release the DVDs to include the original music, that would be awesome, but until then I'm also keeping my VHS tapes :)

I recommend that anyone who loved the show then, should watch it again. You will not be disappointed! :D

My dd wants to go visit Roswell sometime, as do I, but with raising gas prices, not exactly something to do right now. But maybe next summer or something. Just take a little road trip. It isn't that far, and something new to do. I hope the release the dvd set with the original music, all I was able to get was the dvd, and not the vhs tapes.

OME!!! I never thought of that. Jake totally is like Tess for me wow. But hey if we are gonna compare who got the happy ending??? Max and Liz did :D that is just so funny though cause i had never really thought of that before. I wish that i had some VHS, without the same music as the original its not the same i mean still really, really good but not the same. I think though if anyone wanted to see them with the original music Sci fi plays Roswell all the time so they probably have the original soundtrack.

I absolutely hated Tess! I just couldn't like her, for any reason. Jacob isn't as bad to me as Tess was.

I started out obsessed with Max, but grew to love Michael -- he was so hot! And sweet. Started me on a Snapple drinking kick because it reminded me of him.

Somebody mentioned in an earlier post that SM must have been a Roswell fan and I thought it was worth mentioning that she has the song "Here with me" by Dido on her Twilight playlist! I can never listen to that song without picturing the opening credits of Roswell in my head! :D

I was not a fan of Tess either, until she gave herself up so the others could escape.

I was just settling in watching season one, and as soon as they got to Biology in the pilot and Max was supposed to swab his cheek and he ran to the bathroom I was like, wait a second... Then I rushed over here to see if anyone else had made the connection. Guess you were all way ahead of me :P

I had never watched it when it was on because we never got that channel until years later. I thought of getting it on DVD, but I didn't because I didn't know if it was a good ending or not. I mean I didn't want to get left hanging. Do they do a good job at wrapping it up?

I always meant to watch it because a cousin (not really, my aunts best friends son) was in it.

I thought the ending was great, at least they wrapped it up and not just left you hanging.

Who was he in the series? It is really good and they did wrap it up pretty well. I was so sad when they canceled it!

He played a sheriff. I don`t know if he was a good guy or bad, but he usually plays a bad guy. I know my 70 year old aunt watched it because he was in it and she liked it.

As long as it had a good ending I will watch it. I just downloaded the first season (the link to watch above only works for US residents) and if I like it I will buy the dvds. I am a special feature junkie. Do they have good special featuresÉÉÉÉÉ (those are supposed to be question marks, lol). I will post back after watching some!

I have to say that when I think of the main guy in it (the one with the dark hair and big ears), all I see is Billy Ford from Buffy. :P
