When I first read Twilight I thought "oh if only my husband was more like Edward . . . " Then I started to look for the little Edward moments, that SM writes so well. They started to appear:

a squeeze of my shoulder
feeling him standing by my side without looking
noticing his scent
anticipating his car in the driveway

What has happened in your relationships since you met Edward?
EDIT: or since you met Jacob?

Ooh, I like this thread. I would have to agree with what you wrote as well. I did the same thing.
Along with your list, I also noticed more that he sometimes knows what I'm thinking when I don't say it (mind reading. LOL). He can sometimes finish my sentences. The way he looks at me. There's times I feel so much more as ease when he's around. Like nothing else mattered that happend today, because we're together now. :)
I also noticed that sometimes when he's frusterated, he totally pinches the bridge of his nose like Edward. LOL

My husband is a cutie. He is a little jealous of Edward. He brought home a tshirt with Count Chochula (sp?) on it and said, "I may not be Edward, but I can be your Count Chochula".
I do have to admit, that reading Twilight has brought back the little romantic feelings of first love and romance. My husband has certainly benefited from having a romantic wife. It is a win-win, he's happy, I'm happy.

Erica - you're calm NOW? Jeepers - glad we didn't know you before

My hubby is actually really supportive of all my fictional Vampire boyfriends. I think it's because when my nose is stuck in a book, or I'm on TMs he gets the TV to himself

Sometimes my bf says things like "Does it disappoint you that I'm not one of your cheesey vampires?" But I don't really think he's all that jealous.

He's just as attentive as Edward, and he humors me by letting me throw my vampire parties and even donning the fangs and eyeliner (not very Meyer-style, but it's what I like).

He loves me <3

mom4vamps hubby told me he spent over an hour trying frantically to guess her TM password so he could get in and see what she'd blogged about! He was just sure she was writing about her true love - Edward - LOL I didn't have the heart to tell him that he could have just lurked!

Personally, I've gotten really fast with the mouse when my hubby comes by - "TwilightMoms? [click, innocent look on face] oh, um , I was just checking my email "

My hubby just rolls his eyes when he sees me on here.

One night he was trying to snuggle up to me and said "You can call me Edward!" I busted out laughing. But he knows what will get to me!!

lol... yeah I would waste whole days on here or reading

Logan would walk in and here is what the conversation consisted of....

L: So what did you do today

*L does a sweep around the living room with his eyes- tries to hide annoyance*

E: ummmmmm.... well lets see, lots... I "worked", I played with the kids, I picked Regan up, made breakfast and lunch (scraping for anything and everything I can think of)

*casually forgets to mention anything having to do with Vampires or anything related*

L: really... interesting... are those breakfast dishes still on the table with lunch dishes?

*ding- email signals more TM's responses coming back*

*blushing Erica tries to hide it

L: HOW MANY posts did you do today on TM's (he freaked when I only had 100.. he thought that was outrageous...haha)

E: ummm not too many... just a few

*Logan rolls eyes and walks off*

L: I think you are slightly too obsessed...

NAH REALLY is what I'm thinking!

LOL! my hubby does that ALL the time! he used to get a little frustrated with the massive amount of time I used to spend on here or reading (I do it ALOT) but I "think" he's come to terms...lol

that or he's just really patient and secretly thinks I'm off my rocker!

Um yeah, my hubby is the same way. I tell him he's just jealous. I had a bad dream the other night and in my sleep-induced fog I snuggled into my hubby and inhaled deeply to calm me down. I was sad to find out that my hubby does not smell delicious like a vampire.

I'd like to chime in and just say that my husband is supportive of my Twilight obbession. In fact, I think he is a little obsessed himself. He probably spends more time on this site than I do. He has a bunch of blogs in the TwilightMen section. He has been using my sign on, but he just recently applied for his own screen name.

It's funny, the other day, my husband pulled me out of bed to go to the midnight showing of "What happens in Vegas" to see the Twilight Trailer premier. I was dead asleep, then I felt him jump out of bed and start getting dressed. I look over and asked what he was doing. He told me he can't sleep and that he was going to go see the Twilight Trailer. So, I got out of bed and went with him.

My husband is still trying to come to terms with this. At 1st he was like the some of the others ... seemed to feed off the passion that I got from the books (and enjoyed it). Once I found the websites I think he thought I was leaving him! (jk). Now he's come to terms that I'll be on the computer more than I used to at home... he still rolls his eyes A LOT but is more comfortable with it. He's also quit looking at me like I'm crazy when I talk about midnight release of BD and the movie and going to see Mitch Hanson :D

ha. My beau does make references about my vampire men, Edward and Kisten (from the Kim Harrison novels). He finds it entertaining and I'm glad he doesn't get jealous over it. yet.

However, he does do things that Edward has - like lightly brush my cheek as he gazes into my eyes. Ah - I just adore those tender moments.

After reading Twilight, my husand stated "Now I know why you are so hooked on the Twilight Series, it has got to be Edward." Then he starts to whisper in my ear. Of course I found it very amusing at the time. But as time has passed I've began to notice his own special characteristics and manerism more and more. I feel meeting Edward has allowed me to discover that and pay more attention. Above all now I can read over and over again or spend hours on TM, without getting any despressed or deglectful looks from him. :)
