We will so be there standing out by the red carpet with our TMs posters, screaming, kicking the teenyboppers out of the way!!! I love thinking about it!!! I've never done this before, have to learn some tricks to get front and center!!!

Show up early, and stand next to the photographers. That is where the actors stop and gawk the longest trying to make the magazines happy with good pix for spreads and stuff.

im still not certain when the movie comes out for sure, but i think i remember reading somewhere on mtv movie blogs about the movie being released December 2008, so im hoping its that!

The lex said 10 december today, but hinting that that seemed a little over eager so who knows..

i hope it is either way im in on going to the premiere....i think it will be fun and i definitely want to see robert in person *OME*!!! i will probably die...and maybe he will give me the kiss of life ?!?! lol one can only dreaming

Also, on the Breaking Dawn press release page they are referring to December 12, 2008 (yes we know that is 10 months after filming begins and yes it seems like a really short turn around time to us too) as the release date of the film. This has also been up on the IMDB for awhile. Before anyone plans a a movie get together give it a couple of months. Past experience in with the Harry Potter movies has proven that sometimes for various PR reasons they change release dates by a week or two.

I have also seen a December 12th release date in several places. Movie premeirs are usually held in either L A or NYC, however there have been instances where the premier will be held in or close to the area that the movie takes place in.

They might have multiple openings too. The movie Elizabethtown was filmed in Elizabethtown Kentucky (I'm from KY) and they premiered it in Louisville KY as well as other places. All of the actors came back to open it in Kentucky so it was really cool. We could all get together in Forks! Talk about a boost to their economy!

If they were to open the movie in Forks, well, Port Angeles, I might just meet you there.

I would LOVE to go!!! It would be so amazing to see all the actors up close and possibly get in. I'm all for it if everyone else is!

Going to the premiere was one of the first things I ever thought of when I heard it was going to be made into a movie, but I'm not sure anyone can get in unless they're friends or family of the people involved with the movie. Perhaps there might be some tickets won.

Anyway, I know someone who has connections. ; ) We'll see.

No connections here but its funny this was brought up! I told my husband right after finding out it was being made into a movie that if he were to get me anything I want a trip to LA for the premiere (or where ever it was being held) He said ok. So This is something I would LOVE to do! even if it is just standing on the sidewalk screaming.

Yeah, we'd probably have to stand outside lol

On second thought, maybe I don't want to go. I'd probably embarrass myself in front of Robertt. Like, I'd faint or something and have to be rushed to the hospital...

It would probably be kind of a let-down, actually. Still...

I did tell my dh that's what I wanted for Christmas, lol.

Most likely I'll just stay home unless someone on the "inside" invites me.
