any other twilighters out here?

Hey there! I am in Eagan and have a group of friends in our book club who are all Twilight fans as well! We are planning a Book 4 release party and trip to Barnes and Noble at midnight!

I live in Chaska not too far from you. I have scrapbooking buddies in Eagan. I was thinking about trying to get tickets to see Stephenie when she comes for the Host tour. How do you guys feel about combining forces to see if we can all get in. Let me know.

I would love to get tickets!! I am sure some of my friends would as well! I am also a scrap booker though I cannot say I have completed any pages since I discovered these books about a month ago!

I know what you mean. I have a group I get with once a month and since I started reading the books in December (I've read them 4 times and am currently listening to them on tape), I haven't gone. I have to spend some time with my family. javascript:emoticon(':roll:')

From the sound of it, they are just going to post how to get tickets on her website the week of the 10th. So we have to be viligient (sp?) when that time comes. My biggest fear is I'll just miss it because it'll be the one day I can't look at the website. You know what I mean? So get a count of how many tickets you think your group will need. I'll try to figure out how many I will need on my end. Hopefully they let us get multiple tickets at once. We'll see though. Hey, it's fun to have a buddy.

Oh my gosh! I would love all of the above... midnight book releases, book signings.. all of it! I would just love some ladies here in the cities that understand my obsession!

I think a get together could be in order ladies!

Seriously though, let's plan for the book release and seeing Steph when she tours to the cities!

So they are announcing the details tomorrow! I hope to be able to get at least 6 tickets for me and some other Twi-hards. If you hear anything about whether or not we can get multiple tickets or location or any other details, please post here!!!!

I hope I have got it right. We can't get "advanced" tickets to the Mall of America. We just show up that day and wait in line to get an armband. I sure hope we don't have to stay the whole time because they are passing out armbands at 8 am but the signing is at 6 pm. Interesting. And if they pass out armbands does that mean we can get some for others who can't make it that early. I don't know. I have never done this sort of thing before. If you have a better clue let me know. I wonder if I should call the Barnes and Noble in the mall. Maybe they could give us more info. Bummer that we are the only ones that she won't sign Twilight related stuff but atleast we have her coming. And it looks like if you have enough patience everyone will get a chance to see her. That's cool. ':D'

Fellow Minnesotan here! Live in North Branch. I am actually going out to the Mall this Saturday for the Nickelodeon Universe opening (I know..I'm nuts! Will be packed!) and will be more than happy to check on the particulars of the signing. Will let you guys know on Monday!

I'm really excited that she'll be at MOA - and it's so nice that it sounds like if you go, you'll get The Host signed. I'm bummed because I'd really like a signed copy of Twilight, but it'll be great just to meet her.

I'm wondering if you'll just get a wristband or if they'll actually put it on you...I'm a teacher, so I can't go at 8am without going through the process of getting a sub etc, but my husband could go for me, get the wristband, and then I could go at 6pm...might have to call B&N closer to the time and ask.

I would think that they put it on you. It says that you will get the wristband when you purchase the book. I have an idea: If you MN Twilighters have any questions about the signing post them here and when I am at the Mall on Saturday I would be more than happy to bring them in to B & N and ask them and then get back with you all on Monday. Just let me know. I'll stop by this thread at about 4:15 before I leave work tomorrow and grab the questions.
