I don't think Leah, had imprited on Jacob. He has imprinted on Bella; but she can't reciprocate; because she is niether Quilleute, nor has a genetic werewolf thread. Just like she really doesn't mesh with Edward, unless she changes into a vampire. Thats' just my two cents and I'm sticking to it. e-na

Jacob has not imprinted on Bella, though he really wished. Besides if he had he would have to be what she needs from him, which is just a friend.

I'm in New Moon for the third time now, and I just realized suddenly how much I'd like to read more about Sam. I want to know more about what happened to Emily and his emotional reaction to it, and what it was like going through that transformation all alone. I'm also curious as to why, once they realized that the boys were transforming again, nobody warned them ahead of time!

I agree about the warning. It's not like there aren't signs. sudden growth spurts, boil an egg on his forehead......This could have been an easier transition. Maybe they'll take a page from Bella and plan their transitions.

Now, I need a bit of clarification here on Sam (Solomon). I think the Movie Guide had a mistake but I'm not sure. The author said that Sol was part Quileute, and my first thought was "No, he's Apache and Lakota." IS he part Quileute? I know he said his aunt works in La Push or something... but that doesn't make Sol part Quileute (or his aunt for that matter)....

Do you mean the actor? You might try posting that question over in the movie board. They have lexicon level knowledge over there. I just remember that he knew the language and was about to start a teaching job there when he got the movie role.

Sol is not part Quileute, neither is his Aunt Liz. She does work at the Quileute Tribal School in La Push, and Sol was to work there as well this last summer; but got a better offer in Portland. He is still learning the Quileute language and sings many of their hand drum songs. He only gets to see his Aunt about four times a year at ceremony and major community events where his entire family is required to attend. Thank goodness for myspace and e-mail that keep him in touch in between. If the whole Twilight sage comes to the silver screen, Sol says he plans to spend more time in La Push. e-na

speaking of Sam......in real life...Solomon Trimbles best friend is sitting in my living room playing X-Box......HOLY CROW......I told him that I would let them off the hook and not make them get off so I could watch ET and Access.....it was sooo worth it. He totally laughed and told my son..."your mom's got it bad"!!LOL Solomon is off somewhere in Washington doing autographs or he would have invited him over!!
