Ok, I am getting really frusterated! I must be a total incompetent or something, because I can't get the image I want into my signature. I read the info on how to do it and did what I think is supposed to be done, I still just get the HTML gobbly-guck!

Ok, I figured out how to get my banner and quotes in my sig, but I tried to add another separate image and some more text, and it said I exceeded the maximum 355 characters. I don't understand about tags as explained in the instructions. Is that what I need to figure out?

I'm not the best tech person but I have an idea. It could be that even though you only have one picture and 2 lines of text, it still has to take into account that your text is in color and some of it is sized differently and how large your pic is in text. That would definitely add to the 'characters allowed.' I've had that problem before. I really don't know what else it might be.

Also, just as an F.Y.I., if you somehow are able to add another line of text it will have to be side by side, as well as multiple pictures. The guidelines for siggys and avatars are very specific and if your pic is 180px tall then we allow one line of text. It's just that with so many members now we have to be very careful with the space being used on the site. But don't worry, yours seems to be fine like it is.

Ahh, ok..what you're saying about all the colors, italics, etc. makes sense. So I can work on that, but the last part, that's another thing I was trying to figure out!

How do I get them side by side? Is it as simple as c/p one right after the other or is there some special code?

To get the side by side jsut make sure there are no spaces between the codes
