I emailed Marcus Theatres a couple of weeks ago to find out which if any were doing a midnight premiere and when advance ticks would go on sale. They said advance ticks generally go on sale 14 - 21 prior to the movie, but I needed to check with the individual theatre sites.. also said that I'd need to check with the theatres themselves to find out which would do a midnight premiere. I'm guessing they will tho.. they have for all the other big ones (Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, etc).. of course that was when it was all Douglas. I don't know how much things have changed with the switch.

Tickets at Star Cinema and also AMC here in Omaha are on sale...they are having midnight shows at both. I got tickets for Star Cinema (actually in Council Bluffs behind MidAmerica Center). If anyone wants to go let me know

Ugh.. not having the same luck in Lincoln. I checked in with SouthPointe cinema yesterday and they didn't know yet if they would be showing Twilight. They said they may know as early as Monday or as late as the 17th. They also didn't know if any of the other theater locations were showing it yet, even though they are all owned by the same company. I'm going to check with the Grand and Edgewood this weekend.

If anyone has theater info for Lincoln, would you let me know?

Finally have a chance to stop in and say "hi". I"ve been lurking on the boards for several months. I'm an over 30 married mom of 3 in Omaha. I heard about the Twilight books from 2 moms at my son's school back in April and have been hooked ever since. It's nice to know we Midwest gals have a spot on these boards! I can't wait for the movie; I think Catherine Hardwicke just "gets" Twilight. I've watched every sneak peek including the 8 minute Rome footage (yes I have zero willpower), and IMO all the actors just nail it. Wow, wow, wow, I can't wait. That's all for now, and Go Huskers!

Glad you decided to say hi! I agree, Catherine seems to understand Twilight in the way we all do here. I have to say, I was pretty patient up to this week with all of the great work done here to give us all the great clips and interviews, but this week it's finally hitting me HARD!!! NOV 21 and we will be in our seats, anxiously holding our breaths while Edward (I mean Robert!) stops our hearts. I can't wait, I am so anticipating this movie it's crazy! I keep telling myself to remember to breathe.... This week I'm going to see who in Omaha is playing Midnight showings and hopefully I'll be there!

So, I just checked with Fandango and they are saying that there will be a midnight showing in Lincoln at Southpointe. I'm not sure if anybody else knew that or not. I haven't confirmed with Southpointe yet.

Just wanted to let you know that I was able to meet the actors who play Laurent, Jacob and Victoria in Phoenix/Scottsdale on Wednesday. I posted my story under the Hot Topics Appearances Thread, go under Scottsdale Mall appearance....(sorry don't know how to do a link). My husband had a business conference in Phoenix and I already had my plane ticket bought to go with him when I saw the announcement about the actors touring the country. It was just dumb luck that I could go.
"Victoria" touched and cooed at my baby!!!!! I was really starstruck and don't really remember what I said or did but hey, it was so worth it. I was wearing my Nebraska Huskers hat in the morning while waiting in line. People were wrapped up in blankets saying how chilly it was....I've been to Husker games way colder but I didn't say anything! I had on a hoody with a jean jacket and no gloves and I was on the cool side but not too uncomfortable, and comparitively.....I just had to smile to myself and then share with you all. They have no idea about the kind of cold that makes it even hurt to breathe!
