Hi Monisa and welcome. Glad to see that I keep making new friends here. I'm glad you have your daughter to talk with about these books. Can't talk to my daughters yet about them however being only 6 and 3 I really don't think they would get why mom has a crush on an imaginary vampire. LOL. one day when they are old enough though I will share these books with them. I am currently reading Breaking Dawn for the second time and I can't read it slow enough. Yes I too have the movie companion on reserve ( there is an encyclopedia??) I can't wait to see the movie. I believe my friend ( whom hasn;t read the books ) is going to go with me to see the movie. There is a twilight book club here? Interesting.. good to see some new faces . hope to talk soon.

Ok, I too am from Wichita. Nice to see some real fans from around here. I am single, older than you all I am sure and mother of one teenager daughter. We both love Twilight and are planning on the midnight showing at the Warren. We have some others we know going too. I have also read Harry Potter and love all those books. Nice escape, reading. My daughter got me into both book series. We have the Entertainment Tonight Twilight magazine (don't like Robert's picture, he's much better looking than that), the Twilight T-shirt with the whole cast and the calender. Already have the movie companion book and the Twilight sage encyclopedia on reserve. Also a cool book we read was A New Dawn exclusively at Borders. It is a collection of chapters by other authors on SM's Twilight series. Different points of view for sure. Some chapters are; Edward, Heathcliff, and Our Other Secret Boyfriends; Romeo, Ripley and Bella Swan and Dancing w/ Wolves.
Lived in Wichita most all my life. Have loved reading all my life. My other favorites Vampire books are the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles and New Vampire Chronicles. I am also reading Sunshine by Robin McKinley. Really good stand alone Vampire books recommended by the leader of a Twilight book club we went to at Borders.
