Any Rilo Kiley fans on here? They're really a great band - not my favorite. Their lead singer, Jenny Lewis, had a new album out today, so I was just thinking of them and curious if anyone else on here had ever heard of them/enjoyed them?

I was thinking about putting a post up here for them and Jenny Lewis. I heard a bit of her new album yesterday.
As for Rilo Kiley, Breaking Up and Silver Lining are two of my favorite songs ever.
Glad to find another fan.

Yay! Glad to see there's someone else. I wasn't initially that impressed with the new Jenny Lewis album, but I'm sure it will grow on me.

Rilo Kiley is one of my favorite bands. I saw them live last year and it was amaaaazing, especially when they performed "With arms outstretched."
I haven't gotten Jenny's new album yet. Not sure why, maybe it is because aside from work, school, and time with the hubby, I spend all my free time in this forum, LOL!

Rilo/Jenny fan here! I'm enjoying her new solo, but, while it's grown on me, I still don't find it as appealing as her first. Even still, I'd recommend it - it's still better than so much else out there. As for RK, I was somewhat disappointed with their last release. I'm hoping they decide to step it up and return to more meaningful lyrics and less-mainstream sound of their previous efforts.

I love Rilo Kiley, more of their older stuff, the Initial Friend EP is great all the way through, and one of my all time favorite Rilo songs is 'Pictures of Success'. I enjoy Jenny Lewis solo too, I havent gotten her new record yet, I just have the one with the Watson Twins. I saw them live when they were opening for Death Cab. Good show!
