We should meet. How about the weekend after July 4th. We could do lunch or dinner anywhere at the shops (I am not sure how many places there are to eat there?)

Let me know if anyone is interested...I know summer can be difficult with everyone traveling on vacations, but I think it would be fun to get together before BD comes out!

It is sooooooo hot today! I am taking a break inside. I was suppose to finish planting trees... Hahahaha..

What about Wednesday (July 9th) or Thursday (July 10th) for dinner? If you need to meet on a weekend maybe the last weekend of June? I'm just putting some dates out there if anyone is interested, but I know its hard in the summer with school out and vacations. I can meet during the day also, but I would probably have to bring my two kids with me.

Try to stay cool 8) because its a hot one today!

I am going to get tickets (hopefully -- I am a little worried because I will have to get them online and I have never bought tickets online before :? ) for the New York signing. I have a friend and her daughter who want to go with me. Thought maybe any of you might like to come to...I have not worked out all my travel ideas, but I am thinking of maybe taking the train, if that's even possible from here to New York city?? Driving in New York city kind of scares me, but I'll do it to meet Stephenie :D !

I am packing this week, so I think I can get out of the house for a few hours. I will check out the logistics of it all if we meet on Friday.

sorry I haven't been responding but I stopped getting the thread updates for some crazy reason.

Hey All,

I'm from the Hellertown area right by Bethlehem. It's nice to know I'm not alone in Pa. I go to the Promenade Shops all the time and I did go to the midnight release party for Breaking Dawn at that Barnes & Noble there. I made my husband go with me because I didn't want to be the only adult there. He looked so out of place amongst all the women....hehe. I think it would be great if we could all get together to see the movie.

Jess

Hey All!

Any Lehigh Valley Moms going to Forks in September? I just booked my flight and I am SO excited! I am in Group 5. I live about 10 min. from the Promenade Shops. I went to the midnight BD party at B&N... glad to see that I was not the only 30+ mom there!!! :D I got my sister and my girlfriend hooked on Twilight, but neither can make the trip to WA with me. So, alone I go into the big bad world... but it's SO worth it. Please let me know if anyone is going. Thanks! :D

Hey! I haven't heard of the yoga place in Springtown... kinda embarrassing  ... since I live like 5 min. from there and drive through almost everyday! Is it on Main Street?

I liked Breaking Dawn... like you said though... not Earth shattering. I guess I was pretty shocked with the way the storyline went, with Nessie and everything. (I read on SM's website under BD FAQ that she has had the name picked out since 2003!!!) I thought that the wedding and honeymoon could have used a bit more "detail" if you know what I mean. I love how everything ended up though, that everyone got their happy ending, but I think my heart is still sad because it's over. Now with the whole Midnight Dawn mess, I am seriously bummed about that. I still can't decide whether to read it or not! I need to have something to read on my way to Forks (next week- Woo-Hoo!). Are you going?? I know I tried when it was just the 1st chapter and it wouldn't print for me.

Sorry. I meant Midnight SUN, not Midnight DAWN.

I have too many Dawns, Suns, Twilights, Forevers, Moons, etc. on my mind to keep them straight sometimes!

As far as Midnight SUN (Twilight from Edward's perspective) is concerned... someone that Stephenie trusted leaked the unfinished manuscript onto the internet. You can read all her comments on her website. www.stepheniemeyer.com. She is very upset about it, and has stopped all work on it. She posted the 12 (unedited) chapters on her website so that her fans can read it and not feel "guilty". Now we may never get the whole story from Edward's view... and I was really looking forward to it. Never get the shiny book to grace my shelves with the others. I had read the 1st chapter, which she had posted previously on her website, but I just can't decide whether or not to read the rest. To me, it's heartbreaking that someone would do that to her. :(

Any Moms out there planning on seeing the movie at the Rave at the Promenade Shops? Perhaps we could get a group together for Saturday 11/22? (I would think that they would be having a midnight showing on 11/21, which I will def. attend as well!). Please respond or PM me. Thanks!

I live in the Hellertown area and I think it would be a great idea to get a group together to see the movie at Rave. I wonder how fast the tickets will go.
