Anyone listen to their new CD?? So different, and I actually like a few of the songs, but most of it does not sound like them to me at all. What did you all think?

They're really corny!!! But man they are catchy! I find myself singing them over and over.

I was completely OBSESSED with NKOTB back in the day too! My best friend and I actually looked into getting tickets for their show at the Borgota in Atlantic City and they started at $200! :o Needless to say after hearing the price we nixed that idea!

Just found this thread. I was a Joe girl, and I'm excited that I got my girls loving Summertime this summer. It was our cool, windows down, music blasting song (though it embarrassed my husband). We're going to see them in Charlotte, NC at the end of next month!

Love the new CD, I know it is a little cheezy but not too much. There are some pretty cool uptempo club songs, too. And I have tickets for both german shows, jippie! Can't wait to see them again, this is really great. Me and my friend were so obsessed, uhh were? Well, whatever it is a lot of fun :flower:

Don't you just love 'stare at you'? It is so sweet. :<3:

I was totally in love with them when I was a teen, but I really don't care for their music now...ducking out......

I saw them last night in concert in NJ--hubby and two daughters (ages 7 and 8) came, too. We had great seats, too--floor center, about the 15th row. I must say...they were TERRIFIC! Actually better than they were 'back in the day.' Even my husband--who is NOT a fan!--thought they were great. Voices are better, singing is better, and the staging of the show is terrific!

And hey, remember when we were having that discussion about Jordan singing Baby I Believe in You, with the white shirt open and the fan blowing on him?! Well, he still does it.....(just a shortened version).

Anyway, it was a BLAST!!!!!

I am so glad to hear that they are still as awesome as ever. I was in love with Joe, I've actually met him twice. Once at Dancing with the Stars and then he came to Detroit. Still a major cutie. My friends and I are going October 25th

Great to hear that the show was good! I'm excited for mine - though it will be different than back when I was in the big crowd in middle school - I'm going to be in a suite leisurely watching this time! With my daughters!

I gotta agree with KCHWriter, a few friends and I went to see them at the beginning of this month in Cleveland and they were A-mazing! We were like 12 year olds dancing and singing the whole 3 hour drive to the show, and we actually ended up following their bus after they left about half of the way home (which was kinda cool). LOL

I was a Donnie & Joey girl. And dang if they aren't hotter now than they were then. :**: As soon as we got back, we all looked at each other and said, "Okay, when can we go again?" (Truth be told we seriously contemplated just following the bus on to Chicago and trying to get tickets on the street, but rational senses prevailed.) We've been trying to get tickets to the Detroit show for a few weeks now, and haven't been able to find three decent seats together so it may not happen. :wah:

But seriously, if you're going....you're in for a fantastic show!! Not a single person sat down for the entire show and we were all hoarse for the next tweek. Each of them has a solo song or moment (Danny breakdances, Jon has a thing he does with the crowd, Joe, Donnie & Jordan have songs they sing)....and there's a 2nd stage at the back of the floor section, so even if you're in the back part, you'll get a pretty great close up view for at least part of the show.

I mean, just LOOK at these pictures from our show (click for full size):
