I was posting a piece under fan pics. I was really hoping to get some feedback, but the icon next to it isn't flashing. The key says that means no one can post to it. How do I change that?

Can anyone help?

I'm not sure on this one lauralee but I'll try. Usually when the icon is flashing that just means that there are new posts to that thread or it has been viewed alot (popular). If the icon is not flashing it just means that there are no new posts but people can still post to it. I think the only time you can not post to a thread is if there is a lock icon meaning the thread has been locked.

Can you post a link here to that thread so I can take a look?

Thanks for answering me back. I keep getting "avatar is not valid" but I went to photobucket and copy and pasted. I think their pixies are too big. Any other place I can go to find pixs small enough to fit? I copied every pix I could find on photobucket that looked small enough, but I keep getting the same not valid message when I put it in the control panal area. I am putting it in the control panal under avatar off line. Thanks for your help! It's for the icon under my name.

Just wondering why HTML isn't allowed on the board. It seems only BBCode works. I'm constantly having to go back to edit my posts because I forget the code since I use HTML the most.

I think you just type in your user name or your email if you use that as your sign in for MSN. Let me see if I can find out as I don't have mine on there either. lol

ETA: Just type in your email if that is what you use to sign in to MSN and that should work.

I am trying to change my avatar. I am using photobucket and have successfully done so in the past, but I've been getting this message all day long: "The URL of the remote avatar is not valid". What? Why? Is it a problem with the photobucket site? I'm having issues! Crying or Very sad
