Hey!! I forgot all about this place!! Can't have enough places to discuss the DH boys (& girls!).
I cant wait for everyone to be up to Ash's book!! Man, Sherrilyn is the best! If anyone wants the official snippet of Stryker's book (unless you've read up to and through Ash's, it'll be a spoiler!), let me know!!
Happy to see you all again!

I was wondering how important it is to read the first book in the DH series. My library does not have the first but does have the second one. So my question is, will I be completely lost if I read the second book first??
Thanks!

You will not be lost...but some of the characters in the first book, Fantasy Lover, are repeated in some of the other books. I was glad I read the first one just because when they were mentioned later I had their full story. _________________

Ok that's good to know!!
What about the short stories that are listed on the first page of this thread?? Is it important to read those in a specific order??

I personally haven't read any of the short stories and I'm one book away from Acheron's book (yay) and have not been lost at all. I do have the DH Guidebook but haven't read it either yet.
I just finished "Upon A Midnight Clear" and I have to say --- probably my least favorite of the series. It didn't really ring "true" for mew like her others. It seemed like maybe a short story that went too long to call it a short story so she made it a little longer so it could be a book. Anyone else feel that way too? _________________ "The way you regard me is ludicrous" ~ Edward Cullen

Ok, so then I will start from the beginning and get the ebooks online. If I fall head over heels for them, I will pick up the actual books.
Thanks for all of the help!!
