Twilight Opening in Oregon

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, but not to the books themselves! I was temporarily referred to as "the quiet amy" at the Seattle Breaking
Dawn Concert, for those who attended.

I manage a small theater in Sandy, OR. I am in the starting stages of planning a midnight release party. While I have never been to a Twilight Prom, I know every girl wants an excuse to dress up. I mentioned the idea to my staff, and they were excited to get out of their uniforms!

The release party would start at 10 pm. There would be Twilight related merchandise for sale. The soundtrack, if I could get ahold of it, Twilight related tees and other merchandise as available, and some Mitch Hansen Band CDs. He's planning a new album to coincide with the film's release

We are also negotiating the possibility of Mitch Hansen himself coming out to Oregon to perform at the theater, perhaps having his own concert nearby over the weekend. None of that is confirmed, merely hypothetical at this point.

My problem is this: I have to produce evidence that Twilight is indeed a popular franchise. I can show the film in up to eight theaters that night, provided I sell enough tickets. Our theater can house 750 seats.

We have a pre-registration notebook at the office especially for this event. We will take down your name, phone number, # of tickets to order, and then when presales become available, we will notify you by phone. Also, if you are a fan of the Mitch Hansen Band, please mention that!

You're pre-registering, not buying your tickets. Just indicating interest, so I can contact Summit and get whatever promotional items are available, and prove to our movie distributor that this film is going to be big.

Please let us make this be your venue for seeing the midnight release of the movie!!!

We could even have a TwilightMoms dinner prior to the viewing, there are several restaurants in the Sandy/Gresham area that we could make this work at.

Also...if a few of you need a place to stay let me know. I live about 15 minutes from the Sandy Cinema.

Have them CALL the SANDY cinema and Pre-Register for the showing.

The tickets will probably go on sale in advance so we need your name and number to let you know when. Plus we need People to SHOW interest in this EVENT!

We are in talks with both Mitch Hansen and Jackson Rathbone to be at this event. In order to have this happen, I need to show interest, and I don't have very many people calling yet!

Big thank yous to Nicole, Robyn & Gail! We have hit 50 people, and just in time. Our GM is meeting with corporate tomorrow morning to negotiate for Jackson Rathbone's attendance.

Mitch Hansen has been having some issues with record labels, but is leaning towards coming out again. Please call the theater or PM me for further details of how this process is coming along.
