I finished Wuthering Heights last night, and surprise, I really enjoyed it! It was no Twilight of course (took me 2 weeks to read), but I found myself pulled into the story and enjoying the characters and trying to figure out how Heathcliff would die. Anyway, I don't think it was really ment as a book to be analyised and moralized, though I really enjoyed all the comments and insights all of you have offered. I really think this is a tale to catch one's attention and enjoy and if anything, make one realize that your own situation could always be worse, so don't complain!
Thanks to Stephenie for recommending this book, otherwise I doubt I would have ventured to read it anytime soon.
Now on to Enthusiasm!

I'm close! I'm close! Heathcliff is forcing Cathy to marry... I am going to get through it... I like the second half better than the first half.

That is really interesting because I liked the first half better than the second half!

I finally finished last night! I definately like the second half better. I like that it at least ended with a happy ending for Cathy & Hareton. Not sure I could ever want to read it again and definately would never read it over and over like Bella!

Cathy and Hareton was a nice suprise for me!
I certainly liked the second half of the book than the first half, because Heathcliff started to reflect that nothing was gained by his pursuit for vengeance and started to looking around for something to make him happy.
It was a hard book to read, and as much as I enjoyed it, I would've probably finished it sooner if I read it for a class for discussion and analysis!
Gosh, Joseph alone was a handful to understand!
