- Manicure/ Pedicure
- Spend time with family
- Ditto the hair color & style, plus waxing
- Eat lots of good food
- Have a vampire friend rob a pharmacy so that the change wouldn't be too painful
- Make a list of people I didn't like, just in case I ate all of the animals in my vicinity
- Spend some last time in the sun (easy here in Florida)
- Tell friends and family that I will be on medication that makes me both antisocial and photosensitive

Let me see...
Of course I would eat all of my favorite foods. Cheesecake, pork chops, garlic bread, barbecued brisket, steamed broccoli, Chilli's salad, Thanksgiving turkey dinner, strawberry ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough... hold it... I have to give up chocolate chip cookie dough for all eternity... I don't think I can go through with this!!!

I'm totally on board with the eating thing. I love all kinds of food, Thai, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Middle Eastern...I'd be going to restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner Very Happy

I also agree with whoever said have sex, and lay out in the sun too. I have to imagine this happening without my girls though, because I wouldn't do it if I had kids. If it wasn't my husband changing me, I'd have to change him because I couldn't imagine eternity without him!

I guess my answer is 2 pronged.....assuming the reason I would no longer be human was because I was going to be a vampire, I would do lot of the things you all have already mentioned -

Get a haircut
Shave
Sleep
Get a suntan maybe
Spend time with DH and my kids

If I wouldn't be a human because I would be actually dead, then I would just spend as much time with my family as I could.

When I was lurking I saw this and couldnt' wait to answer it. lol.I have given this a lot of thought given that I have been a vampire fan since the 80's with Anne Rice.

So if I had a week to live before becoming a vampire. This would have to take place earlier in my life before kids, because I couldn't bring myself to leave them. So let's just say I'm 25 again (before kids, better body lol).

I would eat all my fav foods, Like most of you said get all waxed up and dye my hair, get a great hair style that would be timeless, spend time at the beach and with friends and family.

Just live it up as a human...so I would have no regrets later.

Hmmm...if I had a week to be human and have human experiences I would:

--Give a piece of my mind to a certain someone in my life who REALLY deserves it right now. Trust me on this one..better to do it while human than with super-human vampiric strength attached to it. LOL Very Happy Or perhaps that could wait for the vampiric strength..hmmm..... Wink
--I would go on a Hawaiian vacation with my lovely husband so I could be in the sun without glittering and attracting unwanted attention. Shocked
--Ditto to those that said they would get a classic/timeless hairstyle and get waxed..
--I would eat everything I wanted under the sun. Particularly anything deep fried and sweet. (I mean really, how much weight can one gain in a week??? Hmm..perhaps should rethink the deep fried and sweet..nahh!)
--Again, agreed with the Mani/Pedi..that is necessary if you are going to look the way you looked while mortal for all eternity!
--Definitely spend the majority of my time with my children and husband, brother and mom.

You all have such great ideas, I can't think of anything I would add.
Do you think the medication lie would work? Cuz I'm so there, I wouldn't have to give up my loved ones....

That is too good! I didn't even think about that until you mentioned it. Of course I would "consumate" with my husband as much as possible and spend as much time with my kitties and my family. And eat all the cheesecake I can handle as well Razz

I agree with this list. I would definitely get a cool hair cut and color seeing it is going to be my last and I would be stuck with it. Mr. Green

Wait, wait. Only one week? Can I assume that I have started going to gym and swimming and dieting three months ago? - Ok, I'm nice and trim now.Wink

- make sure there's a lot of family time (they know I'm deeply into Twilight. they may want to join me)
- Play with my bird as she wouldn't want to come near me afterwards. Crying or Very sad
- have barbecue party and invite all my friends and tell them I'm moving to the other side of the world
- eat chocolate, rum and raisn icecream, macademia and white choco chip cookie
- eat at nicest Italian, Japanese, Chinese restaurants
- drink double shot coffee at the best cafe I can find
- sleep, a lot of sleep if there is still that kind of spare time left over
- on the last day, get waxed and hair cut and coloured. Hope the colour stays. Mr. Green

once one becomes a vampire, you kind of get touched by your "fairy godmother" a la disney and become as attractive as you could ever be. in fact, i've never seen a chubby vampire, so i don't think exercise would even be necessary. so, i'd spend as much time in the sun - at the beach, amusement park, etc - as possible with my husband (who has already agreed to let me change him) and make sure that i fit in all those really good manhattan restaurants that were too expensive previously!

Oh I really hope so. I'm not really good at doing regular exercise and nothing lasted more than three days for me in the past. Embarassed I was thinking about Siobhan and thought just in case.... Mr. Green

I agree with Nouvelle Lune - I'd hate to find I was still chubby as a Vampire!

I would have to get some kind of drastic weight loss sorted before changing!
