What wouldn't I do for true love? I would do anything, anywhere. anytime to be with my Edward forever and ever. Tis crazy but true.

OK if I was Bella - BITE ME ALREADY

If my husband offered to bite me cause well he is a vampire (cause sometimes I wonder about him.) - I would say bite me. I cant imagine being without him (just dont tell him I said that, he might actually think I like him)

If it were one of my 4 daughters - I would tell them to wait and to give it some thought first. There is no turning back after this. If it is what they truly want, I will support them. (Even if it means I have to buy loads of land with bears on it...mwhahahahahah). Though my oldest daughter is quite fond of Jacob Wink

I was MADLY in love at 19 and ended up married at 20(much to my quick regret) so if I was suckered into marriage by someone who was NOT Edward imagine how quickly I would have bowed to the bite with him Very Happy

Probably because I'm a sucker for a love story, and it never seemed like a question to me while I was reading, I would go for it! Everyone has said this, but their love is totally consuming and it just feels right. It also sounds wonderful- together forever! Twisted Evil

I am so completely torn by this topic.

Edward, who wouldn't want Edward? He is everything that we all dream about. He is the man we wish every man could be. Beautiful, charming, caring, so many other qualities that it would take me days to list them all. Unfathomable.

Jacob is reality. No changing, no giving up everything and everyone around you and living a life with someone who would love you more than life itself. If you think about it, who doesn't want that either?

Tough call. You know, if I was 18 years old again, I would probably take the Edward. Now, at 26, I would take the Jacob.

I say go for the change...in some ways she's partway there already. She's so ingrained in Edward and his world; plus she's never really felt at home in her own skin.

Besides...I still think Jacob is going to imprint on someone else.

I hadn't really thought about Bella in terms of not being comfortable in her own skin- well said! She does feel like an outsider in most situations- even with Jacob and his group/pack. With Edward, she seems to come into her own.

yes, i would definitely change. can you imagine all the endless amount of time you would have to do...WHATEVER? my god, it would be great to not have to think about time. and to live forever. not that living on this earth forever seems like such a great thing to me, but if I had an endless amount of time, i would do more interesting things with my life than if i were just human. oh jeez look at me...i'm talking as IF i were human...wow.
and, if it were for Edwards love towards me...him loving me forever? yes, oh yes...i would change just for that.

I don't know...I love that Bella changed and now that I know the ending, I'm happy she changed, but I think I have to side with Edward's reasoning. An unquestionable future for her soul is too much to risk. I think I'd be on the fence. Although I'm sure that after enough exposure to the drug that is Edward, I'd be all too eager to change! Wink

Oh i absolutely would. I mean I'm sure it would be hard to leave my family, but when you find your other half, you are drawn towards it, not away. I think it wouldn't have been such an easy thing for her to decide if the Cullen didn't live as civilized as they do.

To her and to most of us - there is nothing that Edward or the Cullens lack - it's just that next step in their relationship - as bizarre as that may sound. The hardest part would be dealing with the pain of the transition. Heck she has not only her soul mate, but her daughter and all the Cullens as well for the rest of eternity - who wouldn't want that !!
