I just finished The Haunted Airman...
Rob is a brilliant actor, but I'm completely confused as to the point of the movie (side note; I really hate spiders). Why did it end that way? I thought he was going to kill himself, but the way it ended took me completely by surprise.
Still, Rob was brilliant in it... it was a very complex role and a less talented actor would have made the whole thing unbearable.

From what I hear about the short story it was based on is that he was supposed to being going crazy ( and that the short story itself wasn't well written) so it translated strangely in the film. I think it was a good role for Rob to do in terms of physical acting skill, because lets face it it isn't easy to pretend your legs don't work. And there is nearly no action for similar reasons, just lots of facial expressions and conversation.
Someone in another thread said that if you have a mutli-regional DVD player they found some of his lesser known things on british amazon and this site so you may want to check that out. Also that PS3's play all region DVD's.

Does anybody know where I can find the Summer House in it's entirety like on a dvd or even a recorded version of someone's. I'm really looking forward to seeing Little Ashes and How to be but i'd like to see the movies he already has out. It's good to know about the PS3 _________________ "Obviously not. Pretty sure that the Summer House has NOT been released anywhere. Every clip I have seen from it has the music playing in the background.
So I finished The Haunted Airman: very weird, but Rob of course was amazing. He wows me.
I also ordered The Bad Mother's Handbook from Amazon UK and was able to watch it on my laptop. It was one of the cutest movies I've seen in such a long time! So refreshing! I laughed, I cried, and Rob was adorable as the nerdy kid! LOVED IT! Definitely worth watching if you have the opportunity! _________________

I briefly watched short clips of "The Haunted Airman", "How To Be" and "The Bad Mother's Handbook."
WOW! He just shifts so easily from one role to another. That is what makes a great actor...someone who can do just about anything. (Thinking about the likes of Heath Leder and James McAvoy here.) I am going to take a little more time and watch "The Haunted Airman" and "The Bad Mother's Handbook" from their beginnings.

| OME, I have totally been making the comparison b/w Heath L and Rob, simply b/c of their versatility and talent! I think all of Rob's works are worth watching, just like other great actors! He just always manages to blow me away, and I think that ability is going to really shine when we see him as Edward. |
Every time I think about Heath it brings a tear to my eye. The entertainment world lost something great the day Heath Ledger died. I can't wait to watch "The Dark Knight" to see him as the Joker. WOW!

Yeah, I finished "The Haunted Airman" last night. I really liked it. Sure, it was weird, but I think that was kind of the point. This guy was freaking out about what he had done during the war and he couldn't control all those delusions he was having. I didn't enjoy the spiders though.
Just shows how versatile Rob is.
