My absolute fave quote from all the books is..."You are exactly my brand of herione." I don't know why I just love that.

Not so much a quote, but a thought from Bella in NM when she is racing against the clock to save Edward..but I can totally relate to her
"I groaned. That would be just like me-ruin everything, destroy the world. in a moment of klutziness."

Pg. 314 & 315

"Breakfast time," he said eventually, casually - to prove, I'm sure, that he remembered all my human frailties.

So I clutched my throat with both hands and stared at him with wide eyes. Shock crossed his face.

"Kidding!" I snickered. "And you said I couldn't act!"

He frowned in disgust. "That wasn't funny."

"It was very funny, and you know it." But I examined his gold eyes carefully, to make sure that I was forgiven. Apparently, I was.

"Shall I rephrase?" he asked. "Breakfast time for the human."

"You are my life now .. was one of the most intense statements..

Not tomorrow, not yesterday .. NOW.

He knew that he was so done ... He was in love ! It is something to realize it for the first time and then to say it.

I am re-vamping Twilight for the third time this summer ( I really had other books I wanted to read, oh well!) and I have to say that re-reading after BD has made these lines all the more pointed. "You are my life now", "I am breaking all the rules", "I am tired of staying away from you"...all remind me of imprinting. He couldn't NOT have Bella in his life, his sole purpose was her. Beautiful.

I can listen to and re-read all the quotes from all four books over and over again and always feel like I am reading them for the first time... They are all so wonderful!!!

I love reading this thread over and over again.. remembering all those lines puts a smile on my face.. here's one of my faves:

"Just prattle about something unimportant until I calm down," he clarified, closing his eyes and pinching the bridge of his nose with his thumb and forefinger.

"Um." I wracked my brain for something trivial. "I'm going to run over Tyler Crowley tomorrow before school?

He was still squeezing his eyes closed, but the corner of his mouth twitched.

I love that one! Soooo Bella.

One of the funniest lines for me was from Mike when he asked Bella (paraphrasing here): So what happened? Did you stab Edward Cullen with a pencil or something? LOL! Such a vampire cliche!!

The first time I read this, I did a double take. For me this is when Edward goes from super sweetie to SUPER SEXY. This is also the passage that made me realize that I would be reading the Twilight series over and over again.

"Hmmm...," he mused as he quickly finished. "It seems I'm going to have to tamper with your memory." ....He kissed slowly down my cheek, stopping just at the corner of my mouth.
"Would I let a tree hurt you? His lips barely brushed against my trembling lower lip.
"No," I breathed...
"You see," he said, his lips moving against mine. There's nothing to be afraid of, is there?"

It takes all my will power to not start sweating every time I read those pages. Amongst my very favorites.

"Bella...will you please stop trying to take your clothes off"
"Why? Do you want to do it?"

UGH..I absolutely loved this conversation. Definitely two sides of Edward, and this solidified the sexy side. I always get a little warm when I read this section.

The "you are my life now" quote is by far my favorite sweet Edward quote.

Same here amanda31. The morning after the meadow is my favorite part of the whole book. That conversation is so romantic.

This is definitely one of the funnier moments:



but here one of the saddest (I can't get past it without crying) that I love:

"Alice interrupted this time, touching my cheek with her cold fingers. 'It's been amost a century that Edward's been alone. Now he's found you. You can't see the changes that we see, we who have been with him for so long. Do you think any of us want to look into his eyes for the next hundred years if he loses you?'" - pg 410 & 411

While their departure from Forks is sad this part always brings tears to my eyes because it is the first time we see Edward and Bella's relationship from his families point of view and how the changes in Edward makes them happy (well all except Rosalie) to see him so happy.

I have too many favorite quotes (a lot of mine are the same as those already mentioned). One of my favorite Bella moments is when she rips into Edward the first time they have lunch together (p. 90):

"No," I disagreed quickly, my eyes narrowing, "I can't imagine why that would be frustrating at all - just because someone refuses to tell you what they're thinking, even if all the while they're making cryptic little remarks specifically designed to keep you up at night wondering what they could possibly mean....now, why would that be frustrating?"

He grimaced.

"Or better," I continued, the pent-up annoyance flowing freely now, "say that person also did a wide range of bizarre things - from saving your life under impossible circumstances one day to treating you like a pariah the next, and he never explained any of that, either, even after he promised. That, also, would be very non-frustrating."

I can just picture Edward's face while she is saying this and it's priceless.
