Hi fellow "mature" Twilight lovers! Love knowing I'm not the only older Twilight junkie. Ok-- so I'm not 40+ but close enough! I'm in my mid 30's and thought I might be totally off my rocker when I first starting my addiction! :D

The fact that there are so many of us tells you something! .......

I am 47, will be 48 in Jul... Someone help me! Im finding it hard to be comfortable with my age!! Soooo glad I found Edward, who is 107 years young!!

Twilight has given me a new lease of life. I have to start re-re-re-reading the series to be in time Breaking Dawn!

I don't know about anyone else, but I found it hard to come to terms with being 45....and 46! Much harder than 30 or 40. They didn't bother me and then I had this woman at work tell be I was perverse for having a picture of a 22 year old as my screen saver on my cell phone! (Rob as Edward)! That made me feel really wrong for a while until I came on here and remembered I am not alone. I'm not hurting anyone and as you so rightly say, Edward's 107!!

Ok so I have been here since January and been wantng to say this. I cant say how much TM means to me. All you delightful and intelligent women. know Im in the right place! To all you newcomers, you will love it.

Welcome newcomers

You're definitely not alone. For what it's worth, I just turned 47 and I too have a picture of Rob/Edward as my cell phone wallpaper. My co-workers/friends things it's a bit silly, so it's nice to come here and know I'm in good company. :)

I'm 40-glad to know that there are so many of us around! I need to look for cell phone wallpaper-I didn't even know about that!
I found out about these books from some moms on a Disney site I go on religiously-actually, I don't go on that except for the Twilight thread now

I got my wall paper for the cell from the movie site. I just downloaded it to phonezoo, and it shrunk it down for me, or whatever it does. I just sent it to my phone. I have to look for a Rob Pattinson photo, so I can put HIM on my cell.

Welcome to TM! And you're going to Italy! How lucky are you? So how did you do your hair? Like Alice? Victoria?

I think more like Alice. It is going to be pretty short, even for me, so I am holding off until after my trip - just in case I hate it. I am a dark brown (with gray of course) so I will go a bit darker and then Red at the ends for effect.
I searched for outfits today, think I found one at buycostumes.com.

Well I definetly would have to agree with having more fun now at our age. I have freedom to do what I want now.
