i am thinking of you!

I had a huge cyst that was about the size of a ping pong ball taken off of the back of my neck not too long ago. It had been there for 10 years. So I'm hoping yours is nothing serious and you get good news from the Doctor!

My husband has these "lumps" on his head. He's had them since he was little. Back then his doctor said they were not something to worry about unless they started growing or became painful at which point they should be removed. Maybe it's the same thing. A benign type of cyst. Think positive and know we are all thinking of you and praying for you.

I hope the appt with the specialist goes well. I've been thru some health issues myself lately and I understand your anxiety, but try to think positive. You're in our thoughts and prayers. Keep us posted. *hugs*

The doctor told me I should hear from the doctors within a WEEK to get my appointment made to see the specialist, but luckily right when I got back to work yesterday they called me and I have an appt on July 2.

Yea for as long as I can remember its been there, she did ask me if its grown, but for so long I just assumed thats the way my skull was shaped, and I paid NO attention to it. But I'm pretty sure it hasn't.

Dang it!!!!! I'm sure you're not happy still hanging in suspense! Just try not to worry about it until you know what it even is. Try to assume the best possible things. Easier said than done huh! I am trying to do the same thing myself right now. If you want to pm me we can rationalize away the stress together!

Tomorrow is my appointment with the specialist, FINALLY, Im just reading to get this over with and find out what it is, if anything, and go from there.

Well it went so-so.

The doctor seemed very confident its nothing more than just basically more bone on that spot on my skull. I forgot the medical term. BUT he still wants me to take a CT Scan, which is no biggie but Im terrified of needles, and I have to have an IV for that because they put that stuff in you to make you "glow" so its easier to see.

Well since I didn't have my period last month, they said that would hold up getting an appointment for that since I COULD be pregnant. I totally didn't even realize I didn't have it last month, so I had to go take a test for that. They gave me a number for call in 24 hours for the results, and I was SO anxious, my hubby and I just moved into our new house, and that would just be the icing on the cake for us, I want to be a mother SO bad, I couldn't even wait the whole day I called after something like 9 hours, and the results were in, but they were negative. It is for the best though since I want to get more healthy before getting pregnant, so its okay. I'm sad, but at least now I can also get the CT Scan to just make SURE its nothing like that doctor said.
