Does anyone know if the Audiobook is going to be released the same day as the book? I've been saving up my Audible.com credits hoping it comes out the same day!!

Hi, I was just on the audible website. I see it there but when i log on to buy it i get a message that says "not available in your area". i am not sure why. i emailed customer support and have not yet heard back.

My friend purchased the audio CD's the 6th when we bought our Stephenie Meyer book signing tickets @ Borders Book.

LOL! I have been saving my audible credits too! But I wasn't patient enough and caved. I bought the cd's from Amazon on Friday. I'll jsut have to use my credits for something else.

I am frustrated with the CD's I got...did anyone find out more about the Audio book from Audible? It is easier to download and transfer to my iPod. Lol!

I called Audible. It won't be available for a while, but they couldn't be more specific. I was told to email their customer support and (complain) request it. If enough people "request" it they will approach the publisher about getting it released for download sooner. I don't know if it would really make a difference but for now it is only available on CD I guess???

Anyone who was really waiting for it probably already knows this by now, but The Host is available on Audible!

I heard a sample of the audio for Host on SM's website. I HATED it. The voice was all wrong. Blech. The woman sounded like she was a 60 year old chain smoker. Melanie is a very young woman. I thought the voice should be young, too. Strong, of course, but young. I'll take reading the book over listening to it, any day.
