Hey there,
I'm about an hour south of Cleveland and Two hours north of Columbus. Anyone planning on going to the Breaking Dawn release party at Barnes and Noble in Fairlawn? If so, it would be neat to meet up there. My cousin (a twilight teen) and a few of her friends will be going with me. Hope to see some of you there :)

I was going to go to the one in Weslake, but if there are going to people in Fairlawn I'll drive down there instead.

Tamia,

We'll definitely be at Fairlawn. We're gonna go there in a week or so to pre-order our copies, because that is the closest B&N to us. I'm so excited, I can't wait for August!!!

Are they doing a Breaking Dawn release party at the Easton Barnes and Noble? If so, I will TOTALLY be there. I hadn't heard if they were officially doing one.

Whoohooo!!! That will make at least three of us outside of the "squealing teenager phase." OK, maybe just that "teenager" part...

I live between Dayton and Cincinnati! I have yet to entice anyone to read the books too. Most of my friends in this area just are not into reading, and they all look at me with funny looks on their faces when I start gushing about all things Edward and Bella! I'm glad to see that other Cinci or Dayton fans do exist!! :D

Badger - We appear to be neighbors! I'm in the northern 'burbs of Cincinnati, also not too far from Dayton. And I've noticed several others here have said they hail from Cincy too. It's nice to meet you all! :)

I was going to go to Chapel Hill because I thought more people would be going there but if everyone is heading to Fairlawn that's even better, closer! I'll without a doubt be there! I'm gonna head out there this weekend and make sure to reserve a copy!

Copy reserved. Thank goodness they let me reserve it over the phone, making the trip out there is too difficult with a 6 week old baby.

:D Hello Ladies!

If you have tickets to see the amazing Stephenie Meyer in Chicago, we are planning a mini TM meet up before the events for a light dinner. Something close to the theater so people in hotels can walk. We will have more information on the time and place.

Please PM me if you are interested so I can get a head count.

Thread is http://twilightmomsforums.freeforums.or ... tml#410398

Hi. I'm from Northwest, Ohio, specifically Toledo. All the book store branches (Borders, Books a Million and Barnes and Noble) are having pre-parties. I'd love to meet up with some TMs. My nanny (my one and only convert...so far ;) ) will be with me!

Hi! I am from the Canton Ohio area. I think I might be the only TM around here. LOL

I bought BD at midnight (I think I might have been the oldest one in line.) There were other mothers there, but they had just driven their teens. They weren't buying books. Then I went to downtown Canton at 3:00am to save seats for the football hall of fame parade. I sat downtown and read for several hours. It was great!

Can't wait till the midnight premier of Twilight. I will be at Tinseltown at midnight!! Hopefully not the oldest one there! LOL

Hello,

I wanted to post some information about the Twilight Movie Release Party OKI (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana). Although this is primarily a OH, KY, IN event, if you would like to join us from further away, you are more than welcome. Some of our Sisters from TN are planning on attending as well.

We are all really excited about the upcoming release of Twilight in December and would like to invite as many fans as possible to join us. However, we want to make sure there is enough interest before we dive head first into something so consuming. The release party is planned for December 12, 2008 in Louisville, KY.

We hope to generate a good amount of interest and want to welcome you to offer up suggestions and ideas for the release Party. As volunteers will always be welcome, we are greatly encouraging everyone to start by spreading the word. Without you (the fans), this party cannot happen. It is up to all of us to get the word out.

We have a lot of plans we are working on, and we will keep everyone updated. If there are any others in the surrounding areas that are planning a party, we would love for you to merge with us to make it a big event! All of your ideas and suggestions will be welcome and incorporated. The bigger the better!

As much as we want to make this happen for the OKI Twilight community, time is limited. If we want to make this an "event" for OKI, immediate responses are needed to obtain our sponsors and charity.

So that we are able to keep an accurate count of fans who are honestly interested please visit and join the below yahoogroup. It does take a few min to get signed up, but the list is growing.

Thanks,

Cindy Webb, Angie Smallwood, Mary Cecil, and Whitney Cecil

I know how you feel. A friend and I went to buy the book at midnight, and we were the oldest people in the line. All the other parents were huddled in the corner waiting for their kids. If only they knew what they were missing!
