I wanted to post some information about the Twilight Movie Release Party OKI (Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana). Although this is primarily a OH, KY, IN event, if you would like to join us from further away, you are more than welcome. Some of our Sisters from TN are planning on attending as well.

We are all really excited about the upcoming release of Twilight in December and would like to invite as many fans as possible to join us. However, we want to make sure there is enough interest before we dive head first into something so consuming. The release party is planned for December 12, 2008 in Louisville, KY.

We hope to generate a good amount of interest and want to welcome you to offer up suggestions and ideas for the release Party. As volunteers will always be welcome, we are greatly encouraging everyone to start by spreading the word. Without you (the fans), this party cannot happen. It is up to all of us to get the word out.

We have a lot of plans we are working on, and we will keep everyone updated. If there are any others in the surrounding areas that are planning a party, we would love for you to merge with us to make it a big event! All of your ideas and suggestions will be welcome and incorporated. The bigger the better!

As much as we want to make this happen for the OKI Twilight community, time is limited. If we want to make this an "event" for OKI, immediate responses are needed to obtain our sponsors and charity.

Hi I'M new here I am from southern Indiana,in the Seymour area,I was also wondering if there are any twilight moms close to me? I wondered have any of you heard if our local movie theathers are having any Twilight movie release partys.I was hoping they might,I also thought it would be really wonderfull if the Twilight moms close to each other in areas could organize Twilight,halloween partys to celebrate our love of the books, our characters!!!!I just got my mom and sister into the books,they are hooked like all of us!!!!just wanted to add Edward is my favorite!!!hey let me know if any of you hear any news bout any get togethers or have any thoughts on it????take care

I'm Lisa and I live in Fishers. Welcome to TwilightMOMs. I'd love to have a get together again sometime soon. We'd thrown out a few dates last spring for a get together and nothing ever materialized.

Saturdays and Sundays are convenient but my Twilight obsession intrudes on my family time enough as it is without it intruding on my weekends. My hubby's patience can only be stretched just so far. I'd love it if there were a group of us who could meet on a weekday morning over coffee at Panera or a Starbucks or something. That'd be my ideal.

So, are you just new to TwilightMOMs or are you also new to the entire series?

We can see if there's anyone else who responds to see if a weekday morning would be convenient for anyone else. I'm pretty well free Mon-Fri so I wouldn't have a preference.

I read the 4 books this past month. Not sure how I didn't hear of them earlier! And I just joined TwilightMOMS this past week!

So I'm a newborn for sure!

It's amazing how they draw you in, isn't it? I started the series a year ago and joined TMs as soon as I found out it existed. Up to that point, I thought there was something wrong with me; that sure I was the only woman over 16 who liked these books. It made me feel better once I realized that I wasn't alone.

I'm in Indiana too! Spencer (15 miles west of Bloomington) to be exact. There are actually a lot of Twilighters in the Bloomington area ('cuz I created them!) I've been pitching the series while at work (the hospital) and we have a cult following! We are all going to see the movie together on Monday, Nov. 24 (I have to work weekends and can't make it opening night) but would love it if anyone wanted to join us! Only requirement is that you get a Twilight shirt! So glad to have found this site!
