hey welcome sassygemini! Another NE WI TM (hah, look at that three abbr. in a row)! YAY!

I'm getting so excited for BD, I don't know what I'm gonna do till then. I just made my first dinner menu plan for a whole month on Sunday. I did the last week of July into Aug as well, and as I was getting to the 1st and 2nd I was like, "Holy Crow! I'm not making anything for dinner. I'm going into a reading coma thank you very much." I actually wrote on the menu calender, "Mom out of commision." I am going CRAZY waiting for this book :D .

:D Hello Ladies!

If you have tickets to see the amazing Stephenie Meyer in Chicago, we are planning a mini TM meet up before the events for a light dinner. Something close to the theater so people in hotels can walk. We will have more information on the time and place.

Please PM me if you are interested so I can get a head count.

Did we all up and die or something? No one's talking. Although, it just occured to me that maybe we're all trying to soak up as much sunshine and warmth as we can before the winter decends upon us all again. My problem is I hate the humidity. And to top it off, my older son sweats so bad it's ridiculous. We walked to the park today, and I was fine but by the time we got there is hair was already starting to get wet. What's that all about?

How's everyone doing?

No, I didn't see. I do this mostly at work, so when it's busy, I'm scarse. I hate the humidity too and I sweat like your son. It's real ladylike. HA HA

Right now I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do for the BD release. I really want to go to Barnes and Noble in Appleton for thier party at 10pm, but I'm thinking I'll be the only old person there. I also called Apple Blossom Books in Oshkosh and they're trying to get with the library to do a prom or something on Saturday, but I KNOW I'm too old for prom. :D

Otherwise it's just life stuff like watching my 10 month old let go of the table and take 2 steps and getting thrush in the same day and trying not to banish my 3yr old in her room because I can't take the whining any more.

*UGH* I feel bad for AngelaRaex, it's a lot to juggle planning the party. I'm exhausted and I don't have nearly as much to do as she does. I've never been to a release party so I'm not sure how it's all suppose to work. The bookstore put in zero $ for it and I'm starting to go broke.

So what's new other than cement?

They put no $???? That doesnt seem quite fair... How many people are we talking about here? Seems that they should be greatful for the added business? Wow. They could at least provide the appearance of an actor or something!!! We dont ask for much people!!!

New....hmmm....besides end of quarter, end of month, and the IRS wanting their $$....not a whole lot...the mind is goo after being centered infront of computer and calculator for the last 2 wks.....I woke up this am thinking I should go back to bed. zzzzzzzzzzz....

Concrete in 2 more wks! (nothing new)

Kids are done with swimming lessons, and now summer school will be done end of this week. I never believed in summer school....thought they were entitled to a break...but Mom!!!!! They have VOLLEYBALL, FLAG FOOTBALL, and SCRAPBOOKING...well, fine go then!!! Must be a friend thing. ???? Then next week they are on to golf lesson, only 3 days...but its fun....then maybe our summer will start?.!

How about you? Children doing well? Staying out of trouble??? Tell us what the plans are for this party...so that we can go insane and have to work our way there!!

My poor nuggets are being severely ignored, bad mommy! DS was going to take swimming lessons with DH but the class was full when he FINALLY decided he was ready to use the potty all of the time. We aren't taking a vacation or anything fun...We ran through the sprinkler yesterday. :( DD is 15 months and she used to say about 20 words and now she has stopped talking and completly ignores me. We call her maggie simpson.

Have any of you been to a release party before- for HP or anything? The bookstores get a packet stuff from the books publishers, it has some buttons and stickers and that is kind of it. I was talking to the regional event manager for Borders and she said that one of the stores in Chicago gets to have one of the big radio stations broadcast from the party.
   !!!!

Let's see...A unique event for us is our Werewolf Clothing Drive. Some groups are doing a blood drive but I haven't seen the clothing drive before. There will be a trivia competition, quess the quote game, Twilight pictionary, Alice's prediction table, cliff diving game, a DJ, and lots of Twilight related prizes to win. I am trying to get a cardboard cutout of Edward to pose for pictures with. And I just found the same Aston Martin Vanquish photo-prop that they used in the movie, so maybe we will try to get that too...

Hey ladies, I know the boards are shutting down soon, so I will say farewell for the next few weeks. As you all go insane, know that I'm right there with you. To you lucky ladies goin' to the shin dig in Chicago, have fun, and know that we northerners are with you in spirit. I'll see you ladies in a few weeks. Happy reading!

So, lets start chatting ladies. I've missed my WI TMs! How was July for all you ladies? How did the BD parties go? I had lots of fun in Green Bay celebrating with my closest friends who sadly have never read the series. But, I'll keep working on them. Anyone got anything exciting going on?
