We did meet up for dinner, then Sanguina graciously allowed me to crash at her flat so I didnt' have to go back to Norwich then back to London the next day for another interview that came up at the last minute. We had dinner at Giraffe, obsessed about Rob and Twilight, it was good times!

And I will be back in the UK next year I got a job just outside of London in Chadwell Heath, so more meet ups to come. We were thinking a little TM's weekend at the beach or something like that. Bring our books, etc. Imagine our meets when the film is out and then on DVD! Ahhhh haha

Also sorry I got so excited about my job I forgot to say that was a totally weird dream he had! I love random dreams though. Such a gentleman always concerned about his wife :) Its amazing how so many things converge in your brain to produce dreams. I'm glad he told you.

So what are those comments to the story like? haha

Steph, how's it going with your photoshop efforts?

I am getting fed up with waiting for my daughters friend to post up her pics of William Moseley from last night. I saw them on her camera and my Jenny looked really cute with him. I just want to see a nice pic pic that I can print off!

So, JessLynn when will you go back to the US and return here...for the summer?

I haven't booked my ticket back yet; it is making me said to spend 300 pounds one way :( There is nothing cheaper at all in August and I have to come back lol

I am excited to go home, though annoyed that I have to try to do so with 2 piece of broken luggage! It will be weird for us to be all over then we'll have to get on this thread after we finish the book to discuss!

My friend from work died on Saturday. I feel a bit down and I don't know why, but I feel annoyed that nobody phoned me and girls that didn't know her really were called. I can't say why this bothers me when such a lovely happy person has died. Her son was killed last year in a motorbike accident. I feel so sad for her family.

Oh that is really hard on families to have tragedy like that strike so close together.

I'm sorry they didn't inform you, it makes sense to call those close to the person rather than people who didn't interact with them as much sometimes people don't think very logically.

I think I'm just trying to transfer some of the anger I feel about her death onto someone else.

What I can't get my head around is that she was the same age as me. She would always joke that she was a 70 year old inside a 40 somethings body and I was a seventeen year old! I'll miss her, she was such good fun.

Blame is normal so don't feel bad about it, you'll get through it in the end.

It is hard when it is someone your age it happens to, I think it makes you feel vunerable. I know when I hear a 24 year old died of a heart attack a few years ago it scared me really badly!

I was being curious on this thread. I am looking into a job that may take me to work in the UK next year. Suffolk/lakenheath? How far is that from London? Is it a nice area. It is a US government job that will be a two year min post. With the cost of living money for housing and the wages, it is far better than what I make here in Florida and I pay all my living expenses wheras with overseas posts I can make more and they pay for my housing....cool. I have to apply for a Visa. Is it that difficult? What part of Florida ? I can give you any advice you need about Tampa area and the beaches and Orlando

Lakenheath to London is about 81 mile and is a 2 hour drive approx!

Thanks for the offer of advice...this is my 4th trip to the US so I think I've got it covered but you never know, I might think of something! :)

The cost of living is extrotionate in the UK but if you have your housing costs covered you will be quids in as us Brits say!

Thanks for the information. I believe one of the options is in Cambridgeshire/Cambridge University!!!! Woot Woot. I think I will be given about 45,000 for living expenses if I have rent if they have housing to provide for me, then they will cover all expenses except lawn care and long distance. They also adjust that figure for the rate of exchange, as the pound costs me almost two. So I figure I will be in the Quid!!! That is the plan. I was wondering if rentals and utilities could be covered mostly under that amount. I would want something w/3 bedrooms a flat or house. They also will pay for much of my household shipping. I don't think they will ship my car since its made for the US. I might have to lease one or learn to take the tube train and bus. IS public transportation as good in that area as it is in London and Plymouth? Thanks for all your help and if you need anything about Florida, please do let me know.

Driving around London Mon-Fri is a nightmare! Unless you drive a black cab that is! On top of that there's the congestion charges so all in all your better off getting a railcard and using the tube. That said, once you are in the city walking isn't a problem except betwen districts. I wouldn't want to walk from Docklands to Covent Garden for instance. If you get a car, keep it for home use, and depending how long your staying, really do your homework with rental costs, they vary greatly.
45 000 is that £'s or $'s? If it's punds then you'll be fine, heck even dollars you should be ok!
